Short video/transcript explaining three science-backed ways to naturally stimulate the body’s endocannabinoid system to produce effects similar to being ‘high’: (1) exercise (runner’s high), (2) sunlight/UV exposure activating cannabinoid receptors, and (3) cacao (contains the endocannabinoid anandamide). The speaker frames these as practical, personally-tested methods for boosting endocannabinoids.
Here are three science fact ways that you can get high off of your own biology. People think I'm high all the time and I'm not. I just do these things. So the most important thing to know is that we have something called the endocannabinoid system. Our body naturally makes something called endocannabinoids and these molecules are named after the plant because they bind to the same receptors as when you smoke. So our endocannabinoids and the plants have a similar effect on our body. So all you need to do is boost. Boost your endocannabinoid system. The first way to do that is with exercise. Exercise boosts endocannabinoid production. That's why they call it the runner's high. Second way to boost endocannabinoids is with sunlight. UV rays have the ability to activate cannabinoid receptors in the body. The science behind feeling sun stoned. And number three is one of my personal favorites and it's cacao. Cacao actually contains anandamide, which is an endocannabinoid in itself. I personally have always felt high after drinking cacao, so that one comes highly recommended.
