A short YouTube-style monologue explaining neuroscience research that sounds can activate brain regions for touch and emotion, causing people to literally 'feel' music and words. The speaker connects this science to the idea that auditory input shapes the brain and promotes creating music to 'rewire' the brain toward desired realities.
If you've ever wondered why you can actually feel music in your body or feel touched by the words that someone says to you, let me tell you the science. Newer research in the field is actually showing that the sounds that we hear can activate areas of the brain responsible for our sense of touch. So when your friend tells you something and you're like, oh, I felt that, you actually did feel it. Because the brain simulates tactile information from sound, the auditory system is also directly connected to the emotional areas of our brain, which is why we can feel things emotionally as well. Sou sound activates so many different areas of the brain, which is why the music you listen to, the content you consume, the words that you say and hear from others is so important, because all of these things shape your brain, and your brain shapes your reality. This is why I started creating my own tracks on all music platforms to help us all rewire our brains so that we can construct our dream realities.
