How this college student hit a $22k day with his agency

Carl, an 18-year-old from Milan, runs a digital agency while in college and made $22k in a single day. He talks about balancing university with his business, how mentorship shaped his strategy, and what he's building next.
All right, boys. So another solid client interview. So Carol, it was a bit of a slower one, but this guy still managed to hit 10k while in university and he was doing 22 grand contracted in a single day that you, that you close. Which is crazy to think of. You did it literally in university while other people, all your friends, were studying for exams and you're doing the exact same, but you're making 10k a month at the same time. So it's like, it's pretty crazy transformation. So. So yeah, but bro, if you want to introduce yourself, where you're from and all that stuff.
Yeah, thanks for having me. My name is Carl. I'm an 18 year old student here in Milan, Italy. So as Eric said, I'm a uni student right now as we speak. I have exam tomorrow for math or something. So it's pretty crazy. But I think the biggest volume here is I've still managed to kind of pull off as a rig. So while other people are kind of maybe partying or just kind of studying. So I think you can still hit good numbers even if you have nine to five or you're in uni, something like this.
Yeah. So how does it feel? It must be such a big contrast to be in university and around all your friends. But you're making probably more than the teachers actually. How does it affect that?
Yeah, bro. No, it's insane, honestly. I mean the uni I'm in is still kind of a rich kids school so there's a lot of people who have all this parents money. But it's pretty funny. It's definitely very fulfilling. So.
Okay, okay, that's, that's good here. So yeah. So what, what have you found that was like some of the, the. And you've also been able to connect with like a lot of guys? Well, in the group that's. I know, I know you're always on there active and stuff like that, but I guess it's, it's good to have that and like talk to people who are actually in business compared to like, like the friend stuff like that. But yeah. Have you told even like your friends on how much you're making or your. Or your parents? Like what?
Yeah, I mean parents obviously. I think they're very proud of me, which is obviously very, very cool. Friends. I'm very selective about it because I don't want to be like bragging to people. But like I think the biggest value I got is just from like the other people here. So like, because we are all in the agency space and we don't reinvent the wheel here. So, like, everybody kind of has the same problems. So if we can just sit on the weekly masterminds, kind of, you know, focus together, talk through the problems and we can kind of solve them, that's pretty valuable. Also, we, of course, with Eric's sales rep, who is just a killer in sales, he's, you know, just teaching us all the sales. So I think that's. That's very helpful as well.
Yeah, 100%. Yeah. I mean, Daniel's calls are.
Shout out to Daniel. Shout out to Daniel.
He's a G. Yeah. For anyone who's listening, doesn't know, like, Daniel sent you my. My sales rep. And he is so good at sales and he's transformed, like so many people's sales process. Like, you have the belief now that everyone's closable, essentially.
Yeah, yeah, exactly. I mentioned that earlier. I think if I get on a call with someone who has the problem, obviously has some funds, etcetera, I think everybody's closable. So if you didn't close someone and somebody showed up to your call, that's clearly your fault because they wouldn't show up if they were not in pain. So it's just your job to kind of get them to realize it. If you can make it, obviously you can close a lot of deals, which is kind of what Daniel is teaching us here.
Yeah, 100. Yeah. And you've also, you also mentioned, like, just being in the group chat. It's like super. It's just like, I actually, I love the group chat right now. It's such a. Yeah.
It's also like a lot of people in there. So everybody can answer your problems pretty quickly. For example, yesterday, because I'm also just launching the ads, I had some minor kind of issues and somebody caught me pretty much instantly.
So that's.
That's very valuable.
Yeah. Yeah, it's definitely good. And then, so what else? Like, what are you actually planning on doing with all the money? Remember you said that like one client is like a Montclair jacket.
Yeah. I mean, I have this inside joke with my girlfriend. So you know this Moncler jacket brands?
Yeah.
They're like, their jackets are like 1 5k euros or dollars or whatever. So every time I get a new client or just hit like the recurring payments, we have this inside joke. Like one client is one Monkler. So. But honestly, bro, I'm just keeping all the money in the accounts. I'm not spending anything. So I just like. It just keeps piling up. Obviously I'm reinvesting into ads and stuff but like I'm just kind of keeping the money for now. So just piling up.
Yeah, let's go. And like what do you plan on doing anything with all the capital eventually in the future? Like what, what are like your, your like year long goals to. To kind of do it?
Well, eventually I really want to invest them. I was also. My parents were kind of big in the investment property game so like I just wanted to hit enough money so that my first like investment property. But that's like a long term thing. So that would be, that would be my goal. But yeah, I'm just piling up the cash for now. So.
Yeah. Nice, nice. And what are the goals of the agency? Like what do you kind of plan on scaling and also more importantly, do you plan on. We've had this conversation a lot but did you plan on dropping out eventually or what are your.
Oh bro, that's such a. We had it so many times. I don't know. Right. So right now I'm in first year of bachelor's in finance in Milan. Like very good university here. So I don't know actually for now I can kind of manage to do both. But we'll see. I don't want to be just kind of biased either way, but for now I'm just. When I have exams I have to kind of put the agency aside for a week but then I can be back in the game closing deals here. So I just plan to just keep closing. Also I just had one sales rep reach out to me so maybe I'll hire one soon. But just like getting more appointments. I'm running the adsols right now. Sort of scaling that. Scaling.
Yeah, let's go. Nice. And like with. With uni as well. Like I guess it was pretty hard to balance the both. I think that's why it was like a bit of a delay in scaling. But like. Yeah, because how many. Like it must have been hard to just do both at the same time. But you still managed to pull it off. Like what was that kind of day to day looking like, were you? I guess, yeah, uni work and then other half doing like agency work. Like how did that.
Yeah, bro. And I have, I have my friends in uni laughing at me for like doing all the work. But like so my usual day I go to uni, which I'm in a very competitive uni. So it's not that I'm fucking around there and like not doing anything. I actually have a lot of things to do. So I go there. And now because I'm in Europe, after I go back from uni, then the day starts in the US and I work with people in the US So then I have the entire afternoon tonight to take all the calls. So like, you know, when my friends were kind of inviting me to like all the parties and shit, like I'm just kind of locked in, just taking the course. So pretty much the time zone is kind of saving me. But yeah, pretty much just taking on more calls after uni, scaling the business and then on the weekends also I'm working on the long term things like the ads, like the systems, like the backend stuff just to, you know, get most of the prospects.
So. Nice.
Yeah.
Yeah. Sweet. And then like what would you say just like honest thoughts for someone who's thinking of joining the mentorship? Like, what would you kind of say to someone who's thinking of joining to the Joan to the Nacho and like what are your, what are your thoughts?
Yeah, I mean my perspective here is that I don't know what's your pricing right now, but I'm assuming like a few thousand dollars probably. But like saving few thousand dollars in a grand scheme of things. I don't know if that's even 2, 5, 10, whatever. It doesn't, it won't change your life. But having a business that constantly produces cash every single month, like that's life changing. So I guess, you know, if you believe in yourself and if you want to put in the work, then definitely just, you know, enroll, bet on yourself and yeah, that's, that's my advice just here.
Okay. So. Yeah, yeah, because I think it makes so much sense like just to invest in yourself always. Like that's going to have way bigger wise compared to like just money sitting in a bank account.
Like that's. Yeah, exactly.
I had so much money to my bank account, but I just wasn't really.
There's also like a lot of people in there. So everybody can answer your problems with qutra. Like I think everybody's closeable. So if you didn't close someone and somebody, for example, yesterday, because I'm also just launching the ads, I had some minor kind of issues and some. Bet on yourself and yeah, that's my advice. Just here showed up to your call. That's clearly your fault because they wouldn't show up if they were not in pain. So, so it's just so. Yeah, yeah.
Because I, I think it makes so much sense like just to invest in yourself always. Like that's Gonna have way bigger ROIs compared to like just money sitting in a bank account. Like, that's.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
I had so much money sit in my bank account, but I just wasn't.
Really copy pretty much instantly. So that's, that's very valuable.
Yeah, yeah, it's. It's definitely good. And then so what else? Like, what are you actually planning on doing with all the money? Remember you said that like one client is like a. I'm spending. Investing as much as I wanted to back myself and I just spent a bunch more money on it and it's ROI now. So it's like.
Yeah, exactly.
Montclair jacket.
Yeah. I mean, I have this inside joke with my girlfriend. It's your job to kind of get them to realize it. If you can make it, obviously you can close a lot of deals, which is kind of. Because investing is not a thing. Investing is not a thing unless you have just so much money. Because what Daniel is teaching us here.
Yeah, 100%. Yeah. And you've also, you also met.
So you know this Moncler jacket brands.
Yeah.
They're like, their jackets are like 1.5. If you have just a few thousand. Even, even let's say you have 50,000. Like if you can be good at investing at let's say 5k euros or dollars or whatever. So every time I get a new client or just hit like the recurrence.
Like just being in the group chat, it's like super. It's just like I actually, I love the group chat right now.
It's such a payments. We have this inside joke. Like one client is one month clerk. So 10% a year, like that's what, $500 a month. What are you going to do with it? Right? So like you can't be rich from investing if you don't have any money. So like I would rather get the cash flow in and worry about investing later than the other way around. So I think if you want to build a business that's making you cash every single month, then definitely just bet on yourself and you'll be. You'll be here in a second.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's also like a lot of people in there. So everybody can answer problems pretty quickly. For example, yesterday, because I'm also just launching the ads, I had some minor kind of issues and somebody.
And so what, what are like, what are the future plans for the agency, by the way? Like, what do you kind of. What's like the next goals with it? So you hit 10k, you hit in some. Some big days as well. Almost 5.5k days or 4.5 days, pretty much instantly.
So that's. That's very valuable.
Yeah, yeah, it's. It's definitely good.
And then.
And by the way, these are all like, these are all retainers as well, so that's.
Yeah, exactly. It's not pissed.
Yeah. Yeah. So you technically did like.
But honestly, bro, I'm just keeping all the money in the account. I'm not spending anything, so I just like, it just keeps piling up. Obviously I'm reinvesting into ads and stuff, but like, yeah, I'm just kind of keeping the money for now. So.
So what else? Like, what are you actually planning on doing with all the money? Remember you said that like one client is like a. I'm always that. What would that be? Jackly did like 13 grand in a day.
Just buying out. Yeah.
Yeah, let's go. And like, what do you plan on doing? Anything with a contractor?
Yeah, exactly, because.
Which is crazy.
And my average client stays for I think five months and it keeps increasing, so. Because my service delivery is pretty. Pretty dialed in. Also Eric released just new service delivery course now. So it's crazy. And that's just kind of, you know, I'm not selling PIFs, so paid in fulls, I'm just selling retainers. So, you know, each client I get, it just adds to the monthly recurring revenue. And so, for example, if this month I have exams at uni, I can still make 8,10,000 without any new clients, just from the clients I had. And if I can retain them, well, so.
