Hi. We made it to Colombo in Sri Lanka. We're gonna go get some lunch and yeah, we found a pretty nice restaurant and it's going to be our first time trying traditional Sri Lankan sweet potato flatbread with accurate puree. Hello. We ended up taking a break at a really local restaurant and everyone laughed at us as we tried to order something they didn't have. So we're unable to enter. So we're just gonna go home for now. Semi successful day. Good morning. It's the next day in Sri Lanka. We're joined here by my dad. Hello. So we're going to be eating at a ministry of crab and starting our little road trip. This is the crab we're having today. And look at how far the scale goes. Here we have the cropstitution. Mitch has to call it the crabstitution. But Article 1 says that when it comes to crab, we don't serve them small, meatless, or with one claw or of unevenly sized pot. Only the best of the catch. You guys, this place is a little bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it. Road trip begins in that truck. What the hell? Oh, she just said it tastes really bad. Oh God. Car smells like. After a two hour drive, we drove from a city to a seaside paradise. So we made it to our hotel. We have this quaint little living room. This place is really nostalgic. I don't know what about it started and you match the couch. So, Eunice, what's your name? Nice to meet you guys. My mom just took a selfie. This is like crossy Road. I'm back in my own room. I'm gonna go to bed now because I'm gonna try and make it for a sunrise. Despite our best efforts, we missed the sunrise by a few minutes. So we just spent our entire morning taking in the serenity of this place. Hey, we're leaving now. So we just went to the fisherman stilts and Google Maps warned us. They said they would try scam us and they did. This guy followed us across the entire beach as asking for $5,000. But we kept saying no. Look at that. Bloody hell, there's a Met driver. You should actually film this. I did. We randomly stopped at a family restaurant in the middle of nowhere. All right, they've got calamari pocket over here. This is so messed up. So we're back in the tent. This is the bathroom. It's actually not bad. We have a full shower here and lights and actual working toilet. Not a hole in the floor. So not bad. It's the next morning. We had a long battle with mosquitoes and heat last night. Allegedly. I didn't think it was too bad, but others had things to say. So. But it is almost six and we're about to go on a safari. Keep our arms and legs within the confines of theater throughout the entire ride. Enjoy your time at Disneyland covers by taking everything out of sight. The sun beaming down between the gases again. The gas is a gas, baby. Can you dig it? Everything here is so clear you can see. And everything here might not end up in a hall of fame or a star on the sidewalk in my mid. Just dibble and dabble a little bit more. You know what I'm saying? Oh dear. All right. So conscious. We made it to Ella pretty late. So we just rested at our hotel and went out for dinner. I finally found dosa. Actual dosa. Yeah. Here we have egg hopper. Today is the day we go check out Sri Lanka's most iconic tourist attraction. When I'm not around yeah, I think about you often. Sometimes I need my space. Cause I don't like the for. Took you on vacation. Had you swimming with the dolphins. Living in the barrel. So we're currently at the Nine Arch Bridge. A lot of tourists here as expected. But we were able to go see it from a high viewpoint because we were nice to some people. And yeah, we're going to that cafe up there. And we have to walk up this windy dirt path. We're currently stuck in a sticky situation. So we decided to leave. It was really hard to leave. And now we're under our hut making the run for it. The rain finally stopped a little. We made it to Ella station. Oopsies. We made it to the station and now it's our turn to get on the train. Train is actually not bad at all. It's quite comfortable second class and it's really breezy. And we're here. We got off at the last station Padula and took a tuk tuk back up. Hello. Okay, it's only 10 and we're back in our room. We've been here for a while because it's just been such an unlucky day. We didn't want to jinx it anymore. We started off with a broken car, then getting rained on and then just having to walk while wet. And then my dad's glasses broke while we were eating dinner. So that was a whole debacle in itself. But yeah, that's it for my. For our last full day in Sri Lanka. And tomorrow we'll be slowly making our way back to Colombo. Update. The power just went out in the entire town. Okay, lights are back on. It's actually the power is down. They're running the backup. Our first stop is the tea plantation. This part there are group of female workers. Are there a new skill center you want to pick up? The top parts are light green and at least three leaves. These terrains are not the easiest to go on too. Oh, why? On the way back, we bumped into so many trials and tribulations. Pit stop for durian. This is the meatiest durian we've ever tried. This guy has more for us. And this is the end of our trip. Sri Lanka is so beautiful. We went from city to ocean to mountains to tea plantations. They really do have it all.
