Eunice Lai built iDo, a to-do list app styled like a 1990s Macintosh computer. When a task's deadline hits, an error message pops up repeatedly like a virus until you finish it. She used AI agents in Cursor to design the Y2K aesthetic and iterate on the UI.

No. I'm too busy to procrastinate, so I made an app that literally gives you a virus if you try to put things off. I first went on to Pinterest to look for inspiration and was inspired by the 2000s era popups and the Y2K aesthetic. I then opened up Cursor because their new model Composer 2.5 is fast, intelligent, and extremely cost-effective. I typed in my prompt and attached my inspiration screenshots. What I love about Cursor is that you can have multiple agents running in different tabs at the same time, and that it can utilize computer use to screenshot the design and continuously iterate on its own. Here's the final product. It's a to-do list built into a Macintosh II, and when it's time for you to finish your task, a reminder in the shape of an error message will pop up. Or two. Or three. Or until you finish your work.
