Hello. Welcome to a day in the life. In my life during exam weeks. This is a bit different from what I usually do because I don't really like to vlog my school life because I think it's a little bit boring. But I'm trying to learn how to vlog more often and this is obviously the first step to do it. Join me for some study tips. And watching me try to balance four midterms in two days during the last week of school. It's not even during finals week, which is even more stressful. And yeah, yeah, we just, we just gotta deal with what we're handed with here. I got a pepper meatball sub. I never eat on campus so I have no idea how this is gonna be. It's actually not. The temper is actually not bad. Yeah, I'm going to go home now. It's 4:20 and the sun is going to start setting. I don't want to go back when it's dark cuz it's going to be even colder than it is now. And I'm not going to lie, I don't like studying at school. I don't know why I can't lock in and I actually do a lot better in my own room. So yeah, I guess here comes study tip number one. So take. Taking study breaks is essential for staying productive. It gives your mind time to actually process and retain the information you learned. So as much as I know you want to keep cramming, you actually need to take that break to fully process what you just learned. This is a weird angle, but for all of my exams I get a slide deck of the review content. So what I do is I go through it and I just kind of label or annotate every single thing on it. So if it asks me what a descriptive research is, I would just write on top what it is. And it just saves me a lot of time to go over old notes or creating new notes. Little study break. Second male AWA bun of the semester without stepping foot in New York. I have good friends. Hey guys. Yeah, just like mysterious. Wait. Anyways, this is a study vlog. Do you have any study tips for anyone who's watching? You'll hate every second of it, but the minute it's over. After she left, I cooked myself some dinner. It was a really quick and easy dinner. I think at this point the panic hasn't settled in yet as I slowly ate my food. But it's okay. We need rest time. I don't usually study at cafes because I do think my own Home is quite comfortable but I really wanted to put myself in an environment where I could lock in because now is the time to grind tomato. I'm kind of stressed out because I have a presentation in two hours and my groupmates both haven't made their slides yet. So I don't really know what to do cuz I've been pushing them all night. Like at 12 in the morning I was texting them hi guys. When we get the slides done and it's still not done so I really don't know what to do cuz I'm pretty sure we just graded as a group so. So I just finished my first final presentation. I'm gonna go gym and go to class anyways. We're currently at demo day. I don't want to be here because I have to have does a Hopefully. Hopefully the Gamma class is better. Not going to lie sensor. Anyways, I have like three midterms tomorrow. I don't want to be here. Can you be silly? We also have template contracts we're generating that even though they those people are your friends and family. It's difficult to balance because. Okay, demo day is done. It was so fun being on the other side of this because last year I was the one standing up there pitching to real investors. And it's just really cool to see how other teams come up with such different ideas. Being a video editor myself, my favorite pitch was this AI video editor that learns your editing style and adapts to it. And I think this is something I would use too. And I'm just looking forward to what happens to that idea in the future. Today is the day of my three back to back finals. My entire semester's work all comes down to this one morning. Let's see if I can clutch up. You guys know what they say about looking good, feeling good. Well that's what I'm trying to do. I usually put on very minimal makeup but I want to cover up everything. My massive eye bags and hopefully that would supercharge my academic skills cuz they totally have a correlation. Right? Also I was going to say I'm pretty sure my oat milk is expired cuz my coffee is sour. So we're on our way to our first exam. How are you feeling about it? Wish us luck. Final number two. Let's go. Midterm three. I'm so. It's okay. Last one. 12:30. My third midterm of the day. Manifesting at least I only need a 70 so manifest. I think I did pretty well in all three of those finals, like I felt somewhat mostly prepared for all of them. But yeah, I found this community coloring sheet in the business school, which is so business school of them. And I just decided to contribute. I just got home from my three finals. I am exhausted. Like my hands are aching. But now, after using all that brain power, I need to cook myself lunch. But the problem is I have no ingredients left because I didn't go shopping and I didn't want to buy anymore since I'm leaving in three days. So let's see what I can put together with my limited, my very limited kitchen. Long story short, I made the most disgusting but still edible meal ever. It was just ground beef that was unsalted because someone stole my salt with a singular tortilla wrap that I had left. Don't look at my struggle meal. I have no ingredients left. What are you making? I don't. I have ground beef and a tortilla thing. So I'm making a taco. Giant taco Delicious. Wow. Study tip number two is to mind map your classes. Honestly, I would only recommend this if you started studying early enough. But there are so many scientifically backed reasons for why you should do this. It's been found to help boost your information retention by up to 15% and it helps you learn and relearn new concepts. It also makes complex ideas easier to understand as you can connect them to each other. For me, I just write the concepts it's linked to in a darker color, so I know to refer to the mind map for that chapter. Lastly, it's just so fun. Look at how cool these look. I woke up to this beautiful winter wonderland, which really makes me want to go outside and play. But unfortunately I have my hardest exam yet tonight and I still have a few projects to grind out, so I gotta lock in and work on that. But I actually have two more study tips that I used I forgot to film earlier. So let's get into that right now. There's a well known adage that says a tidy home leads to a tidy mind. And I cannot stress this enough. A study shows that the clutter on your desk is actually competing for your attention, which decreases your focus. And this statistic seems a little bit too good to be true. But you can be up to 500% more productive. Who doesn't want that? And tip number four is to write all your higher level goals for the day on pen and paper. So no to do lists, no reminders applied. I want you to do it the traditional way. And I think this is really helpful. Because taking something off a checklist really gives you that dopamine rush that gets you through a day and gets you really feeling really productive and wanting to complete all of these tasks. Also, by higher level goals, I mean stuff like finish this project and not something small like put on your socks. I almost slip and fell like three times. I felt year I won't even be able to make it to my finals. Going to my last in person finals. Finals. I'm feeling pretty good about this one. Finally, we got this last one. Are you reading your notes right now? Okay. We're manifesting. I just finished my last final. Yay. Okay. It went a lot better than I thought because the midterm was extremely hard. Like, my hands were aching by the end of it. And our teacher acknowledged that fact that it was way too long. So he. I think he overcompensated a little bit and made this one a bit too easy. But I'm so happy. There's like a huge weight off my shoulders. And that's it for my finals week. I still have a few projects I have to hand in throughout the week next week, including this portfolio I'm working on right now. But I hope you guys all enjoyed the tips I gave for studying. And happy finals week, everyone. You got this.
