Carnival @ CMU

A personal vlog by Eunice Lai documenting her experience at Carnegie Mellon University’s Carnival (Midway). The clip covers late-night booth prep and painting, attending buggy races, a Candy Crush-themed booth walkthrough and disassembly, and travel/closing remarks. The tone is informal and experiential, with multiple speakers and on-site ambient details (weather, times, physical fatigue).

It's fully snowing outside. So we just loaded the hall full. I'm like, how are you feeling? I'm feeling great. I'm pumped up, ready to go. We're at Midway. We made it in time. Yeah. Without passing out. Why is it so close? Welcome to day. I think three. We got all of the walls approved last night. We just did something really stup. I'll be good. Oh, I'm painting. I'm working on green candies now and I just did purple ones. Damn. It's gonna take fore. It is currently 2am we're gonna get done. It is now 4.30am I'm so sick and tired of this. I'm done for tonight. Peace. It's Saturday morning. The weather is finally good. Well, actually it's quite windy, but the past few days has been so rainy. So we're gonna be filming and showing you more carnival things. So I'm starting the day off with going to buggy. I heard no one really goes to this, but I'm just really intrigued by what it is. So let's go. What do you think of it? It's interesting. I don't know how they fit people. I didn't expect it to be. What it is is. It's like a lot smaller than I thought. Yeah. How small is the person? I know. No, no, they have to be like below 5 foot, 100 pound kind of vibe. Oh really? Yeah, that's like the prime driver. Oh, look, it's one of the soft. We're done watching the buggy races. So exciting. As an F1 fan, we're gonna check out the booths right now. How's it going? No, you gotta intro. You gotta intro our booth. Okay. This is Candy Crush. Good morning. So it is 11. I'm gonna go help with disassembling the booth. That's kind of exciting. I like breaking stuff down but my feet are so tired. Cuz yesterday's concert like made me sad for like five hours straight. We also tried to stalk Rule after. I'm kidding. We didn't try to stalk him but like we were kind of looking for him. But yeah, we are on site. We're going to start taking this down. Christy, what have you guys done so far? Good morning guys. I think so far we've only done like a little bit of the roof and then in interior sheathing. We don't have any ladders right now so we've just been drilling the bottom. As you see, we are slightly height disadvantaged. Hello. Welcome to our midway reports brought to you by me and Christy once again. So we're making the process for progress. I think if you can see the wood, you can see the progress. True. So it is 1:30. It is end of our shift. We're out of here. Yeah. Do you. Do you guys like my hair right now? It's really giving. I love helmet hair. I love it so too. But I think we made really good progress, actually. A lot of sheathing. Half the stairs are gone. I would say. Hello. Okay, so we're going to Holly now. Holly. Holly now. Holly. Is it holy or Holly? Holly. I know that you want to get crazy, crazy. Show your poopy face in the vlog. Holly just ended. Now we're on the bus to get some things. My first time getting canes. This guy's done Mendes. This guy's done Mendes. Yo, what's good? Don't forget to like and subscribe to unice. Thank you for watching the carnival vlog.
