Who is actually doing the job search? You found this job listing for your adult child, you rewrote the resume, and reminded them to send out the application. Which part of the job search is actually theirs? It probably started out with one small favor. Hey, give me your resume, I'll take a look. And now you're checking deadlines for a job you don't want. Try agreeing on a smaller role. Choose a job listing that you're interested in and write a draft. I can look it over with you afterwards. If this feels too much for them, ask them, what part do you need help with? And then work out a step they can manage. You could help with the difficult Part while leaving them something to do. You just need to make it clear before you sit down together so you don't end up taking over again. Save this video before you send another job listing.
