SupplementarytoDefiningarchetypesofmixed-usedevelopments
Supplementary material for a 2023 study that defines mixed-use development archetypes in Singapore by mapping Google Maps Place types to 36 programme types, estimating typical unit sizes via clustering and multivariate linear regression, calibrating against measured mall floor plans, and producing programme profiles for 3,064 mixed-use plots. The supplement includes an OntoMixedUseZoning ontology (zoning, land use, programme type axioms), detailed archetype definitions (AT001–AT163) with component programme ratios, validation on three malls, and a case study using City Energy Analyst (CEA v3.4) UBEM simulations to show energy impacts of data-informed archetype programmes (e.g., differences in peak cooling and electricity demand).
