This guide will walk you through setting up your marketing plan, generating content, and approving posts in Firestarter Marketing. Begin the process of creating a personalized marketing plan by clicking "Set up marketing plan" on the dashboard. Enter your company's website, for example, firestartermarketing.ai. Click "Evaluate my business." The platform will review the website, identify company information, and present it for confirmation in the next steps. Review and update the company information that the platform identified during its evaluation. Once the updates are complete, scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes. The next step is for the platform to identify the ideal customer profile. An ideal customer profile is a detailed description of the type of company or customer that would realize the most value from the product or service. Begin the process by clicking Create Ideal Customer Profile. The platform will generate up to 2 ideal customer profiles. They can be approved as-is, edited, or removed. The platform requires at least 1 ideal customer profile to move forward. To update an ideal customer profile, click Edit. Update the ICP by updating, adding, or removing information so that it accurately represents the customers the business is targeting. Confirm the updates by clicking on Save Changes. Approve the content by clicking on Approve. With the second ideal customer profile, repeat the same process as with the first. After approving both ideal customer profiles, click Next. The platform will present 4 potential goals for the business for the next 12 months. Select the one that best aligns with the business needs. Click Create Marketing Plan to confirm the selection. This will redirect to the calendar. Click Generate Content to begin creating personalized, on-brand marketing content for the business. Select the first day for marketing content to be published, for example, July 1st. Select the last day for marketing content to be published, for example, July 31st. By default, all marketing platforms connected to Firestarter Marketing will be included in the content generation process. To exclude a channel, for example, Threads, unselect the network by clicking on it, removing the blue border. Add any special instructions, such as a 20% off in-store sale for July 4th, and any exclusions, such as avoid political humor. Confirm the guidance and begin the content creation process by clicking Generate Content. While the platform is generating content, it will share guidance on how to review, update, and approve it. During processing, the Go button will be disabled. Once content generation is completed, the OK button will become clickable. Click it to return to the calendar and begin reviewing content. Identify a campaign to review and click on it. The campaign name, content, and images can all be updated. As part of the content generation process, the platform will match any images or videos already uploaded to the platform to the text. Review the campaign to ensure everything is aligned. If there are no images or videos in the platform, bulk upload them in the content section or upload them on a per-campaign basis. Open the image selector by clicking the plus symbol to swap out an image or add additional ones. The currently chosen image will appear with a green checkmark in the upper right corner. Click on an image to toggle the checkmark on/off. Only images with a green checkmark will be included in the campaign. Once the images have been chosen, click Select. Save the updates by clicking the down arrow in the upper right corner next to the Publish button. From the dropdown menu, click Save to apply the changes. Once the updates have been saved, click Back to the Calendar and repeat the process for each campaign. Once all of the campaigns have been reviewed, click Approve Posts in the lower right corner to schedule them. Campaigns will then post on the agreed-upon schedule, and the reporting will be made available in the Reporting section. For future campaigns, the platform will identify what customers responded to, what they didn't, and optimize the content for the next round of campaigns. This guide covered the steps for account setup and content creation in Firestarter Marketing, including evaluating the business, creating ideal customer profiles, setting business goals, generating personalized marketing content, reviewing and updating campaigns, and approving posts for publication.
