In this motivational video, Frances Pratt of Kiss to Sell addresses a group of entrepreneurial women, sharing a recent coaching success where a participant contacted three prospects and secured two new clients. She uses this anecdote to highlight a common pattern among women business owners: putting themselves last, hesitating to reach out, and waiting for clients to come to them. Pratt challenges this mindset with a fire‑log metaphor, urging listeners to actively “put a log on the fire” by making phone calls, meeting people, or otherwise reaching out to ideal clients. She emphasizes that business is fundamentally about connection and service, and encourages immediate action, promising that proactive outreach will generate warmth, new clients, and fulfillment. The video ends with a call for viewers to share their results and keep the momentum going.

Well, hello! It's Frances Pratt here from Kiss to Sell. Hope you're having an awesome day. I just had to record this because I wanted to share something with you. I did a coaching call with a group of amazing entrepreneurial women the other night, and the very next day, one of the women had an amazing result, and I just really wanted to share that with you. So she took my advice and she went out and spoke to 3 new customers, and 2 of them said yes. So I didn't want to share that with you just to say, isn't that awesome for her, but to encourage you. You know, so many women in business put themselves last, and we get it around the wrong way. We wait for the client, we wait to pick up the phone, we worry that we're going to bother someone, we don't go out and talk about our business, we don't tell people what we do, we don't suggest things when we know that we can help a person with a particular problem, and That's so frustrating. It's, um, must be frustrating for the person that you could help just as much as for you. And I wanted to share something with you because it got me thinking, um, and I remember someone saying this to me, um, a long time ago, and I can't remember who it was, so apologies to that person or whoever the, the amazing person was that told me this, but we don't say to a fire Give me more warmth, and then I'll put a log on. Do we? It doesn't make sense. So why then do we trick ourselves to think that we can wait, that we cannot go out and connect with people and still get new clients into our business? So that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I want to challenge you. I want to inspire you. I want to say to you. Go and put a log on your fire, whatever that means for you. If it means picking up the phone and contacting people that you sent information to, if it means getting out of the house and just going having a coffee somewhere and talking to a random person about your business, if it means going and seeing or picking up the phone and calling those people who you know are your ideal client that you have a great solution for, whatever that action is, I urge you, I, I ask you to do that for you and yourself today because if you put that log on then you will get warm. So go put the log on, go and get warm out there and bask in the glory of new clients and new activity and connections because my friends that is what business is about. We do business to connect, we do business because we are passionate and inspired to do it. So there's my little go out and get them call to you all, and I hope you have a really amazing day, and I can't wait. And please come back and put some comments on about those— the results that you've got, because we do it because we're passionate and because we want to help people. So go out there and help people.
