In this orientation video, conference host Francis Wade walks first‑time, virtual attendees through how to maximize their experience at the Sustainable Strategic Planning Conference 2023. He introduces the two main platforms – the primary conference site (strategyconf.fwconsulting.com) and the community platform (dynamic-objectives.mn.co) – and explains the choice between “visitor” (read‑only) and “join” (profile‑enabled) modes, urging participants to create a profile to interact. Wade outlines support options, including a help‑desk with video FAQs, email, and a WhatsApp group, and points out where to find guidance for using the Airmeet live‑event platform. He describes the pre‑conference resources: a full video from Dr. Richard Romelt, free trials, downloadable materials, a content store, the upcoming ESG Show, and a recent Actionable ESG podcast. The conference schedule is broken down by day: Thursday is an on‑demand day with 24‑hour access to presenter downloads and community comments; Friday (June 23) adds live presentations, interviews, and panels on Airmeet, running roughly 8:30 am–6:00 pm Central Time (UTC‑5), followed by a networking session. Wade emphasizes the importance of engaging with the community through comments and chats, and highlights the conference’s overarching theme of integrating short‑ and long‑term strategic planning for profit, people, and planet across all organization types. He closes with an enthusiastic invitation to participate.

So how do you make the most out of this Sustainable Strategy Conference 2023? You're someone with an interest in the topic, but you don't want to waste a single moment either going to the wrong places, not learning anything, not meeting the kinds of people that you want to meet. You want to make the most of every opportunity, but how can you do that? You've never been to a conference like this before, and it's all virtual. Hmm, well, my name is Francis Wade and I'm the host of the conference. I'm going to take you through a very quick tour of the different sites that make up our event. So chances are you registered or you know of our main website, strategyconf.fwconsulting.com. You've came, you've come to this page and you've taken a look at the speakers, take a look at the panels that we have, the downloads. You have an idea of what's about to come, but here's a quick tip. If you get lost at any point or get confused, just go to our help desk and there you'll be able to see this video. You'll also be able to see some frequently asked questions, send us email, or join our WhatsApp help group. If you need some advice as to how to make the most of an Airmeet, um, live event, here's some information you can also use with respect to that. What the help desk will tell you, or more to the point, what you'll hear from us in email, is where the conference actually begins. Uh, it begins here at our website dynamic-objectives.mn.co. And when you come to this page, you'll have a choice as to whether or not to explore as a visitor which means that you won't be able to leave comments or likes or interact with any of the other participants inside. You'll only be able to view the content, or you could join, which means creating a profile for yourself so that you can be known and get to know you and make the most of the opportunity. I recommend that you actually join. But anyway, if you do choose to explore, here's what you could possibly see. Once you get inside. So you click on that button, you'll see a welcome to the conference, um, introduction, which will take you to the conference welcome. It's part of our welcome. We have a Start Here button, tells you where to begin. And then those same FAQs that you saw before, they're repeated here. And in those FAQs are also some links and connections to our help desk. And as I mentioned before, we help you via email and also by WhatsApp. So once you've gotten through that, you may want to visit our pre-conference content because there we have some interesting information, including a full video from Dr. Richard Romelt, expert on the crux, who presented at our 2022 conference. You could pick up some free trials and downloads of content, contents and materials. Come to our content store and see what discounts and free downloads our presenters have prepared for you. You may look at or review the ESG Show, which is actually about to come up tomorrow, Wednesday. And you may also look back at the Actionable ESG Show, which was a podcast recording that we did about 3 weeks ago, maybe like a month ago. Also, once you've gotten through the pre-conference content, you may be interested in what do we have on each day. So each day is sort of very easily laid out here. Um, on Thursday, you may know that we have an agenda which is basically all about downloads. So it's an on-demand kind of day where you can access downloads from most of our presenters, many of our presenters. So today— sorry, Thursday is an all viewing day, and we're going to encourage you to leave comments here, here in the conference chat, or in the space that we'll have for the actual videos themselves, all in this space, based on what you're seeing and what you're learning, so that your learning isn't just a solo activity. You're actually learning as a part of a global community. So the first day, the, the up— the downloads are available for 24 hours. And then once that day is over, we'll come back for Friday, June 23rd, where you can also view some downloads. But more importantly, perhaps depending on what you prefer, you can also engage in some of our live presentations taking place on our Airmeet platform. Let me click on the right, right agenda for that. Here we go. So this agenda is very different. There are downloads available. So even after the day is over, you can spend time watching those videos or before. And during the day, we have a mix of presentations, interviews, and panels. Going from 8:30 to around 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock. We'll culminate the day, end the day with a networking session, and we strongly recommend that, that you, you know, what we have to offer and decide what to attend based on the different descriptions that we have. In order to access these live events, you actually have to leave our content platform and go to a different platform. We use one called Airmeet, and on Airmeet you'll have to create a different login, and once you register, it'll send you information on how to access the live events that I showed you on the prior page. So our conference is taking place essentially on two different platforms. One, the content platform, the first one I showed you, which has all of the pre-recordings, allows you to interact with other members of our community, other participants, and the Airmeet platform, which is where we'll host our live events. Also very interactive, but only open between 8:30 to 6:00 Central Time, which is UCT -5 if you're in a different time zone. So lots of different interactive opportunities to learn. And we hope that you have an awesome experience visiting with us and tackling some of the very big issues around profits, people, and ultimately the planet. We're all about short and long-term strategic planning and how the two can be interwoven so that companies, organizations of all kinds— profits, nonprofits, NGOs, clubs, doesn't matter what kind of organization— but they're thinking not only about the few months ahead, but years ahead, because that's the kind of thinking that the world needs right now. I'm Francis Wade, I'm signing out, and thanks for joining us. Take care and all the best.
