Francis emphasized that the balanced scorecard should extend beyond financial metrics to include client impact, internal processes, and people/learning & growth, ensuring every individual’s desk aligns with the overarching strategy. We are here today at a conference that Francis invited us to participate in, and I have to acknowledge Francis up front. Francis was there at the— in the apartment in Gordon Town with me and Keith and Dr. Noel Lyons, and Francis said— it was Francis who said, Donna, you know, what's the long-term vision? And then, you know what I mean? And then we set about getting it done. And also the cascading, the IBSC, the balanced scorecard. Francis also, um, you know, guided me in that direction to look at putting in a balanced scorecard approach so that the balanced scorecard approach, you know, cascades the strategy all the way down to, to the, to everybody's individual desk. And not just in terms of financial, but also the impact on the client impact on internal processes and impact on people and learning and growth, you know. So
you can use it. You can jump in anytime and talk about Francis because I met him in similar circumstances in Cape Verde back in 2007, and those are the kinds of questions and things that he put, he put on the table.
