Showing up vulnerably the first time, it's really a true act of courage. But after that, and getting it right, it's a learned skill. But you wouldn't know that unless you tried over and over and over for weeks, months, years. And that's what I've done for the last 2.5 years. So now in my talks, I've both tried to model vulnerability by sharing my story, but then I quickly get into tactics of, hey, here's how you actually show vulnerability with one another in a way that will feel safe for the group and stays wedded to the work. So it's not just people trauma dumping on one another.
