In the case of AI, however, we need to profoundly rethink how we behave at the core. Instead, for instance, of browsing documents and reading them, we need to expect to be briefed on documents and what's in them. Instead of writing documents, we need to expect to manage AI teammates who write documents. It's still us. But there's a layer of abstraction. We're no longer exactly knowledge workers. We don't read knowledge and write knowledge. We receive intelligence briefings and we produce intelligent instructions. We're intelligence workers. And that transition from knowledge workers to intelligence workers is one of the defining concepts of our lifetime.
