sold the firm last December, so it changed hands. I have a new boss, and all of a sudden I had way more on my plate than I ever had with him. You know, he was like a one-man show, and I would go into work at 9 AM and he would have a whole list for me, like, here, Misty, here's all the things we're going to get done today, here's the order I want them done in. And I could just like go through and just do it. Wow. Versus her, She wasn't doing that. She was like, I was in charge of the project management. I was in charge of what clients came in today, what clients need to pick up their tax return today. So it was a whole different like management system, the kind of tasks I was doing. And it was like, by the end of my day, I was so exhausted. And even though I wasn't working a ton of hours, I was just recognized like, this is not my zone of genius. I really prefer, you know, when I have a plan for the day, you just tell me what to do and I'm just going to go and do it versus I have to figure it all out.
What a major difference. Like, it's a massive difference in terms of management style, right? And for you to have to now adjust to that management style in like a blink of an eye, that's crazy.
