Welcome to the Overgivers Anonymous podcast. My name is Angela Mondor, also known as the Geeky Girl. In this podcast, we're going to be talking about some amazing things to help you get over overgiving. Hi and welcome to this episode of the Overgivers Anonymous podcast. My name is Angela Mondor and I'm also known as the Geeky Girl. I am always excited to bring you a tool, not a tool in terms of like a A person you don't wanna spend time with, just so we're clear. I mean, I like to bring you something that's going to help you. So I wanna talk to you about social media. I have to say, years ago I was a social media manager, and one of the things I hated most about being a social media manager was the concept of having to constantly redo things over and over again. If you wanted to talk about a new blog or an old blog post, you'd have to like rewrite things and find Find the links and blah, blah, blah. That ended when I found Smarter Queue, and I'm gonna tell you about what I know about Smarter Queue and give you some maybe new twists and ideas. Because I'll tell you what, it is so easy to become productive and it's very effortless. There's nothing worse than trying to figure out what you're gonna do. It becomes like paralysis. It's like, I don't even know what to do. I don't know what step to take, or I can't— I'm not a really great I don't like to write things multiple times. I don't like to do anything multiple times. Let's be honest. I don't like to watch movies again. I don't like to watch TV shows again, those kinds of things. One and done, right? So when it comes to writing social media posts, I'm like, but I already wrote that and it's just fine. I'm going to share with you some cool things that can help you if you're anything like me with those things. So SmartQueue is a powerful social media management tool. It allows you to post on multiple different platforms. It allows you to create different content everywhere. It allows you to create evergreen content. I have thousands of posts inside my social media Smarter Queue system now. And it's so easy to keep filling the newsfeed with all the things that are going on along with not just the new things that are happening, but also to bring up content that is still good. Blog posts that I wrote a year or two ago are still awesome and amazing, and they need eyes too. So evergreen content has been absolutely a huge blessing. So let me get into into some of these things on how it's going to help you to enhance your content, recycle it, organize your stuff, make sure you have the right visibility on it. It's the full package. So number one, recycling, that whole concept of making sure that you are bringing things to light, the pieces of your business, like those content pieces that you've created, making sure they don't just get a one-and-done sort of time on social media. Because a lot of times I see people, they post about their brand new blog post and they'll never show up again. But that blog post is valuable. It took you time and energy to write. And just because I don't want to read it now doesn't mean to say if I see it again, maybe it's a better time for me and I want to read it. So thinking about how you can bring these up every time can be daunting. But in Smarter Queue, it's easy. All you have to do is put it into Smarter Queue and you can choose the content you want for it and you put it into your evergreen cycle and it comes up based on how many other things are inside that queue, which is all about the categories you create. But that Ongoing content is important. If you, if you did a, like if you were a guest on a podcast, for example, that podcast episode is really valuable. You spent time on it. The person who did the podcast also spent time on it. And why not bring it up again so that you can share that information multiple times? That would be another reason why you would use evergreen content. So you can continue with this ongoing engagement with the content you've created over time. Now, Smarter Queue allows you to do that simply by checking a box and saying this is evergreen, that you want to put it at the bottom of the queue and it's going to start over again. You can make more information about it saying that it's going to expire after this many times out or it's going to expire after this particular date. Those kinds of things you can play with inside the categories. You can actually say this category is open from this time to this time, which allows you to put things in that are specific to timeframes. So maybe you have Mother's Day posts that you want to go out. Well, you can actually create a category called Mother's Day and put things in it that are only ever going to show up during this time frame, whatever that time frame is. I use it when I am involved in a summit or if I'm involved in a bundle or anything like that. I can put all of the content inside there or anything that I'm an affiliate for, if that's, you know, that related. I can put that stuff in that queue and queue it up and then it'll run only for that period of time and I don't have to come back and go, oh, I've got to turn that off because it's still running. No, it has an automatic timer on it. So that's beautiful for I can sit down and do it now and it can show up later. So I'm not going to forget that I need to create it. It's very, very helpful for my brain. This allows me to be able to do things ahead of time, find those breaks in time when I'm able to do those things. Because when I'm having downtime or I'm having time when I don't have as much energy or the ability to spend much time on those things, I can then say, you know what, I'm going to go do some tasks that don't require as much of my brain. And one of those tasks is putting stuff in Smarter Queue. I know, right? Because usually social media is just like so much work. So being able to categorize things allows me to be able to say this category goes out at this time of day or these days I can put categories out, promos, those kinds of things. You can use those categories to be able to create those things for yourself. Now, when you set up these categories, I typically like to set up brand new categories as like your blog posts, media, which would be anything where you're shown on media. So it's your resharing other things that aren't yours, but where you are on it. And then maybe you have a promo category and then you could perhaps have different promo categories for each item that you would like to promo. Or then of course, like I said, having those special categories for affiliate stuff that you're working on, or if you're working on bundles and summits or speaking engagements, those kinds of things. Those are some of the things that I like to create. different categories for and create content in. So that allows you, you know, not just seasonally and holiday stuff, but also for other things that are timely. So for example, the Rockstar Success Circle is opening up again. And of course, we're going to be talking about the new 2025 planner. I'm excited. Lots of work goes into it and it's different every year. So I want to make sure that I'm not showing 2023 stuff or 2024 stuff when really we're talking about 2025. And so needing to make sure that that's clean and ready for that information, that's why it's important for us to put timers on some of the content that we put out there. So that is huge, absolutely amazing for me to be able to do that and make sure that your content stays correct as it's going out on social. When you're creating these content pieces, you can actually ask it to help you say, hey, give me some suggestions on hashtags based on the comments or based on the content. It'll give you tips on, you know, choosing those things, choosing the hashtags And you can actually save hashtags too to say I want to save this snippet of hashtags. And you can then just, you know, click a button and automatically those snippets show up as you like them. So you can choose to say give me new ones, or you can choose to use the same ones over and over again at a click of a button. So easy. Now the repetition. Years ago, we would create a post and we would have the picture and the link to— let's call it a blog post. So the picture and maybe a link to the blog post and you'd put some content on it. If you wanted it to show up differently, you'd have to create a whole new post and then choose the new picture, choose the new words. Smarter Queue, they make it so easy. I can literally add, let's say, 5 different images. And then I can put like 6 different ways to say it, all going to the same link. And now I have 30 posts. It's that easy. And if you're like me, and you're like, I don't know what to say, you can actually say the first thing you want to say, and then paste it into— on the right-hand side has this AI caption writer. And you can post, paste it in there and say, give me X amount of— maybe you say like, so there's that, that's the one. And if I want 6, I say give me 5 more. And you can say using this language, using this way of speaking, right? Whether you want to say you're, you know, you want to be like energetic or, you know, whatever, those kinds of things. You get to choose what kind of voice you're using. And then you can say either give me hashtags or not. And you can also say give me emojis or not. It's fun and so easy. It just takes so much out of— so much stress out of creating these things. I love their new caption writer. It's been absolutely brilliant and really very, very helpful, especially when you're creating content for promotional stuff. Sometimes it can be difficult. How else can I say this? Guess what? They're going to tell you. You don't need another piece of software. I mean, if you create it somewhere else, you've got to copy paste, copy paste, copy paste. But with this AI, you just click one button that says use these and you can, you could say, oh, I want to use this one, but I don't want to use that one. So you can check the boxes if you want. But most of the times they're pretty good. I say select them all. And then once they pop on the side, then you can edit them if you'd like to. For what you actually need to have. But it's been brilliant and very, very helpful for us to create new ways to say the same thing over and over again, but differently, because it's going to catch people's eyes differently. It has an entire content library. Of course, your content library of all the things that you've created that are sitting in the queue that can be chosen, you can choose to use or not. But they also have media assets. You can upload your own media assets there, or you can actually use— it's built right in with, I think it's Pixabay that's built directly into it. Something Splash is also there. You can It has GIFs attached to it. So if you want to put a bunch of GIFs on things, like, it's brilliant what you can do. And you can say add more, and then you can upload, or you can choose from one of those other places and bring in pieces from elsewhere. And you're not having to go to Canva or somewhere else to create these pieces. You're just bringing them directly in through SmarterCruise. You're not leaving the platform, which also means that we don't get distracted because we've left the platform. So you get to do all of this right there. So you can choose your time slots. You can choose how many times a day you post and where you post. Smarter Queue is also really, really good at letting us know when things change. So for example, when Twitter changed, and I don't remember if this is before or after they changed their name, but let's be honest, they're still Twitter to me, X platform. There was a time when they changed and said you could only schedule, I think it was 30 posts a day or 15 posts a day. I can't remember which one. They let us know like, here's what it is. And they added a counter for us so we would know, oh, you've got this many out of that many that that's allowed per day, which was absolutely brilliant. And then probably a couple years ago, ClickUp— or sorry, Twitter had made a change that said that you weren't allowed to repost the exact same thing that you had posted previously using this, like an automated poster. So that evergreen piece was kind of broken, except for Smarter Queue found a way around it for us. And instead, they would retweet the thing that you had. So you were still getting to use the evergreen piece. So it's been brilliant, not only for what it does and how it saves me time and energy and brain space, but it's also been great for keeping me on top of all those changing pieces because there's so much changing in the world. It's hard to keep track of it all. You know me, I love to spend a lot of time in ClickUp, so I know the things that are changing over there. I'm in it probably 90% of my day, so I'm really comfortable over there. But if I had to do that with every single platform that is social media, I'd lose my mind. There's only so much all of us can keep track of. So they do a really good job of keeping us in the loop. About what's happening and what's changing.
