George Kao announces he’s launching a new YouTube channel devoted to personal and non-business topics (spiritual reflections, personal thoughts) because that content no longer fits well on his main, business-focused channel. He explains the overlap he’d previously allowed (some spiritual content and tech tutorials) but now wants freedom to express non-business ideas, and he invites viewers to subscribe, comment, and suggest topics for the new channel.

Hi everybody. So I am going to be starting a new YouTube channel that will house my videos of a non business nature. If you have followed my normal videos for a while, you know that I usually talk about on my business on my normal YouTube channel I talk about authentic business conscious or spiritual marketing, joyful productivity, healthy money. I have some tech tutorials up there from my clients and everybody as well. Anyway, so, and then I started in past couple years I guess to start putting some more spiritual content on my main YouTube channel. And I realized more and more it's just not a good fit anymore. And I want I guess more freedom to really express my, my, my personal thoughts. Whatever is important to me at this time that's not about business and you know, kind of growing professionally. So I, that's why I'm starting that channel. And below this video, somewhere below, above this video you will find the link to that new personal channel. So if, if, if you know, if you find my way of being and thinking to be interesting, you, you know, I would be honored to see you subscribe to that channel and you know, comment on those videos if you, if it inspires you to do so. And I would also be interested to know what, what would you like me to talk about that's not just business, marketing, productivity, technology, tech, tech tutorials. What, what would you enjoy seeing me? Yeah, just you know, talk about, rant about, reflect on. I'm genuinely curious about your opinion on that given what you, given what you've seen from me, what you know about me.
