A short YouTube monologue by Gunnar Hussain advising viewers about the harms of obsessing over conspiracy theories. He explains that internet access makes it easy to fall down research 'rabbit holes,' describes how this led him to victimhood that harmed his business and personal life, and urges focusing on self-improvement, personal responsibility (you are a co-creator of your circumstances), and adding value to others. The video closes with a standard YouTube call-to-action to like, comment, and share.
Hey, it's Gunnar Hussain here and today I want to talk to you about conspiracies and conspiracy theories. Now as you know, with the Internet, Google, YouTube and the like, we have access to all sorts of information, beneficial or not, and we can get to find out a lot of truths about something, can be anything, religion, cults, politics and all that stuff. But unfortunately, and I'm talking from personal experience here, is that because we've got access to information, we can tend to go down the rabbit hole of researching about conspiracies. But the thing is, how does that serve you? How does that serve you as a person and in your life and in your business? If you're researching about conspiracies all the time, then you just get into a place of victimhood because, you know, all you're seeing is, yeah, you know, the higher forces are there to, you know, squash you down and you can't get on in this world and you just debilitate yourself by researching this stuff. Whereas what you want to do is really focus on yourself, you know, because I'm a big believer of whatever you attract in this world, you are 100% responsible. And don't forget you are co creator. So whatever you see around you, you're a co creator. You co created that situation. So you know, it's good to have information but you really got to think, well, what purpose does it serve and how can you give value to others knowing what you know? And don't forget, we don't know everything. Is it going to stop you in your tracks? Because it can, it can. It stopped me. I just wanted to dig and dig and dig and dig. But my business life was suffering, my personal life was suffering and I was getting into a mess up here. Oh, they're out to get me. Oh, they're out to get you too. Or the roles aren't are no good. Oh, the Illuminati and Freemasons, they're out to get you. No, just focus on yourself because when you focus on yourself, you become the world changer. You have no, they have no influence on you. So with that, I hope you found this video of value. If you did, please like and comment and share if you're viewing this on YouTube.
