Hal Elrod breaks down three steps to success: clearly affirm what you're committed to with concrete, timebound language; identify a deeply meaningful reason that makes it non-negotiable; and define the specific daily actions you'll take. Failure, he says, only happens when you're out of integrity with those affirmations.

So here are the three steps. Number one, affirm what you're committed to. Right? So don't say I am a millionaire, say I'm committed to generating a million dollars in the next, you know, 18 months or whatever. Number two, affirm why it's a must for you, why is it deeply meaningful to you? Right? So for me, my commitment to generate financial freedom only mattered when I got clear on to provide financial security for my family. Being able to buy shit that's not going to get you up in the morning. But if you can find the why, that is so meaningful to you that you're willing to do whatever it takes, even if you're not motivated on any given day, like it doesn't matter, I'm committed. And then the third is, which specific actions will you take and win? And here's the thing. When you affirm those three, what you're committed to, why it's a must, and what you're going to do every day, the only way you can fail is to be out of integrity and not live in alignment with what it is that you're affirming.
