Hey, it's Hal Elrod and it is what is today, Monday, November 14th. And things are going really well. Very encouraged. I'm on day three to four of my chemotherapy and leveraging allopathic medicine to save my life. Because essentially when I came in here, I was having kidney failure. My lungs were full of fluid and my heart was surrounded by fluid in a dangerous way to where it could cause heart failure, kidney failure, and even, you know, the lungs had all sorts of potential problems. And so thank you to allopathic medicine. They were able to drain my heart fluid. I've got a catheter as well. Show you. Here you go. You want to see the. Here's the whole show. I've got a catheter in my heart that is draining the fluid out from my heart. Mostly drained. It's going well. A catheter in my lung that is draining the fluid from my lung. Picked up two electrodes to make sure I don't have a heart attack. And.
But I'm feeling, overall feeling pretty good. And we had a call yesterday with an oasis of healing holistic center to talk about the long term keeping the chemo in remission or the cancer in remission. I've been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Luckily, it's a treatable form of leukemia. It's one they have a good success rate with. And they actually, with allopathic medicine, Western medicine can get it into remission within usually two to four weeks. But right the first month, it's like a 95% success rate. And it looks like it's going that way, which is very encouraging. And the key is keeping it in remission, which, you know, there's that the success rate is not as high. However, the holistic center and oasis of healing that we spoke with yesterday, that's what their focus is. Not just attacking the cancer with chemo, but it's actually nurturing the body so that the cancer never comes back. And so we're really looking at a two pronged approach of right now we're getting rid of the chemo and keep saving my life, which is obviously very important. And in the long term, though, we're going to be looking at the. Combining the holistic approaches and the natural medicines that don't just attack cancer, but actually strengthen the immune system and even detoxify from chemo so that I can come back stronger than ever and stay stronger than ever and remain in remission from any cancers coming back for the rest of my life. Anything else to include, dad? Oh, yes. I do want, I don't know who's going to see this video. Just get on my video journal. But I do, I cannot express, I mean shoot, I could talk for another hour on the gratitude for the support and the love from my wife Ursula, my dad, Mark, my father in law Merrick. They're all, they're here. My mother Julie, mom taking care of our children Sophie and Halston, who I miss and love so much. Brianna Greenspan. I mean, I mean the individual names is going to be hard because all it's like a thank you speech. You end up leaving people out. But my friends, so first of all I got my family, team love, my family, thank you so much for your love and support and going above and beyond the best family I could ever ask for. My friends equally the best friends I could ever ask for and doing so much to help me and support me through this. And then my community, the miracle morning community has been mind blowing. You know, thousands and thousands and thousands of comments and prayer requests and friends and my co authors posting videos. Oh, there's. I can. I'll call her back. That's my assistant.
John Berghoff, huge help. Matt Recore, huge help. You guys, your support, your friendship has been amazing. Brianna Greenspan, huge help. John Broman, again.
The list goes on and on. Ryan Snow Papetrini. You guys contributed money to help support some of my unexpected medical expenses. I'm grateful for that and for many of you that are helping in that anyone if you're watching this, if you've helped me, I love you David Osborne. Having food made for me. I love you so much. I love all of you. Thank you so much. And if I didn't mention your name doesn't mean I don't love you any less. It means I have what they call it chemo brain. I used to have brain damage, now I have chemo brain plus brain damage. I get at least get a few get out of jail free cards. So love you. Thank you for your love and support. I love you so much and I appreciate you and I look forward to this cancer, this journey, teaching me some profound lesson or lessons that I can pay forward and pay it back and share it with you and share it with the world similar to the miracle morning and hopefully make an even bigger and more profound and more positive impact in the lives of your life and the lives of other people. And thank you. I couldn't do it without you. Love you so much. Thank you.
