Hey, everybody. Tal Elrod, how are you? Today is Friday, December 2nd, and this is my third video. New look, a little shorter hair. It's coming out fast. I think this is the longest. It's going to be for quite a while. Dropped about £20, which is. I don't have £20 to drop. But I'm feeling good and feeling healthy. And I wanted to give you guys a call to action today based on the last video. So this is actually. So tune in. This is not. This will be a very small update, but it's mostly about you and about how we as a community can come together to make an impact right now. The last video that we did or that I did was I talked about this profound gratitude that I had and how this extreme gratitude for all of the love and support and prayers that come in had kind of transformed into this profound realization around how many people out there didn't have that support, you know? So I was. I was humbled. I was grateful for the support. And then it hit me, wait a minute, how about the thousands of people that don't have a community or even, you know, friends or family to support them? And maybe you don't have the financial resources. And the dominant question kind of has become, how can we support the unsupported? Like, that's what I'm asking myself a lot. How can we support the unsupported and how can I support the unsupported? And how can we leverage the community so that we can support even more people? And various ideas that I'm coming up with. I want to give you something actionable today so that this isn't just an idea, but we immediately see some great results. And the idea or the challenge, the invitation for you is to volunteer. And this is something that costs you no money, right? We can all do it. It costs a little bit of time. And I'm going to ask that everybody watching this that wants to totally optional. I'm not going to tell you what to do, but volunteer. Commit to an hour or whatever. And here's what you can do. What one thing you could do. My mom does this. My mom's like the volunteer queen. I mean, she like every week volunteers and she sits with people that are dying and she visits foster homes. I mean, my mom volunteers. You know, she gives blood every week. Like she volunteers like crazy. What she does, though, is she'll call local senior living centers or foster homes and say, hey, who doesn't get a lot of visitors? I'm just looking to, you know, to spend Some time with someone that could use a visitor. And that's what she'll do. She'll just call, ask who doesn't have visitors, and then she'll go and she'll visit that person and she'll ask the staff. So that's one option. You could call a local center, again, senior center, foster home, et cetera. Ask who doesn't have a lot of visitors because the staff's gonna know that, right? So that's option one. If you don't want to call around senior centers or if you're, you know, you want a more direct route, go to volunteer match.com I just discovered this website today, volunteer match.com and I will say that before I put on this video or before I started recording the video, I was about to record the video and then went, wait a minute, I've got to do this. I have to take action. I can't just challenge my community and invite them without actually having taken some action. So I personally started as close to home as I could is I went to the cancer center where I'm being treated and I actually went to their volunteer part of their website. And then I just applied today to be a volunteer. So fingers crossed that I will get approved. I don't know if they'll approve patients. Hopefully they will, but yeah, that's what I'm gonna do. So if you are willing to commit in the next week to go volunteer somewhere again, just a little bit of your time. Doesn't even have to invest any money except gas money. But volunteer match.com and if you don't like that site or you can't find an opportunity in your area, call around to local again, senior centers, hospitals, cancer centers, foster homes, etc. People that are going through some challenges and could use a visitor, could use some love, could use some support. So that's it. If you're willing to commit to volunteer, just type a comment below. Say, I will volunteer in the next week, in the next seven days. That's it. I'm doing it. I hope you'll do it too. Love and appreciate you guys. And again, oh, by the way, quick update. I'm doing great. I feel good. All of the treatments are working well. I met with my doctor a couple days ago and it was the first meeting where he went over my count and all this stuff. And you know, and he basically. Actually, the best part is, you might notice, I'm at home. He said, hal you. He was. I was supposed to be in the hospital today for four days and two days ago, I went in and he said, go home for a week. Go visit your family. So I've been gone for 20 days in the hospital and in Houston, and he just approved me to come back home to Austin. So really, really quick, my first full day at home yesterday was awesome. And yeah. So. Alright, so volunteer. Let's volunteer. Let's support the unsupported. In fact, that's my. That's the new hashtag, I think hashtag, support the unsupported. Let's make a difference. And I love you guys. Thank you for your support. And let's pay that forward and help some other people in need. Okay, Love you guys. Talk to you soon. Thanks.
