Hal Elrod recommends Scott Haltzman's book on happy marriages, which treats marriage like a job. Apply the same focus and learning you bring to work, and your relationship improves. Elrod is rereading it for the third time.

Attention men who are in a marriage. I have a book for you that I want to recommend that I'm currently rereading. It is the Secrets of happily married men. 8 Ways to Win youn Wife's Heart Forever by Scott Haltzman. I'll tell you the biggest. I'll just give you a quick synopsis of what this book focuses on. It compares a marriage to a job. I know, ladies, that's very unromantic, right? But it basically says, like, hey, men, you've got all these skills. You know how to focus and you know how to learn and grow and evolve and develop new abilities within your work. You can apply those same skills to your marriage. Treat your marriage like the most important job in your life. And by drawing those parallels, you're able to see, oh, wow, I do have what it takes. I'm not incompetent as a husband. Like, I can crush this when you treat your marriage like your number one most important job. So again, if you are a man you want to improve your marriage, highly recommend this book. It's one of my favorites. That's why I am rereading it for the third time. Check it out.
