One question I get a lot is how do I wake up earlier? I'm not a morning person. Here's the answer. Now, this is Ozzy. He's not the answer, but the answer is number one. And this might sound obvious, but go to bed a little earlier, right? Go to bed 30 minutes earlier. To wake up 30 minutes earlier, give up that time in the evening, vegging out in front of the tv. That's unproductive for the highly productive. Time to wake up and meditate, journal, read, do affirmations, all those practices than able to start your day at a peak state. The second tip is move your alarm clock across the room as far as you can. Why? Because if you can reach over to the bedside table and turn the phone off when the alarm's going off, you're probably going to fall back asleep. But if you have to get out of bed and you have to walk over the alarm, now you're upright, now you're awake, and it's 10 times, if not 100 times, easier to stay awake. Beat that snooze button and become a morning person.
