Ian Ugarte uses sports analogies to explain why you fail when you look away too early. Watch the ball through contact in tennis, follow through on your golf swing, complete the catch in football. Each small step must align with your long-term goal.

I've talked about keeping your eye on the prize. Let's talk about that in a second.
So last time I ran up this hill, I talked about making sure that every footstep in front of you was safe and secure so that you didn't twist an ankle and hurt yourself, and looking at the beacon at the top of the hill as your target and always going back to that, but making sure that every footstep was right for you so that you don't hurt yourself. And it happens in every sport where people take their eye off the prize. If you look at football, when someone passes a ball, they go to catch the ball, but before it's even in their hand, they look up to see what's coming in front of them and they drop the ball. In tennis, it's the same thing. You have to actually watch the ball all the way through. In golf, you know, golfer, that lifts their head to see where the ball's gone when they haven't even hit it yet means that they actually fail. So I want to make sure that you understand that in everything that you do, including property, that you are actually always looking forward to where it's going to go. But make sure that every step that you take is a step towards getting to that goal. Keep on communicating back to that goal, but always make sure that the step in front of you, that the next catching of the ball, the next. Next hitting of the tennis ball, next golf swing that hits the ball, but you've got your head down watching the ball get hit before it takes off, very, very, very important.
