In this brief narrated teaser, the speaker follows a fictional Homo Arcticus who, after spending the winter around an ice lagoon, moves toward the mountains in early melt season to seek a mate. Despite the ice barely melting, his mating instincts are already active. He emits a distinctive "Waaah!" mating call and adopts curious poses to attract a female. The surrounding hills remain silent, indicating the season is still early, and the narrative notes that he will continue to repeat these courtship attempts over the coming weeks.
