Tjum, tjum, tjum. Look at this here. It's my birthday today. So for this birthday, we have questions and answers. Hey, fire loose, man. I'm here. Playful like always. Because I'm a child of Mother Nature. What would people never expect of me? Yeah, well, I'm a human like anybody else. I feel the cold, I feel the heat. Sometimes I can be disappointed. Sometimes I can be angry. Yeah, anything. Most of the times I'm very positive about anything all the time and a lot of energy. And that's because of the cold. So, but what people do not expect me to be is that I'm just human. Like anybody else. So I'm emotionally— I have quarrels with my wife. Oh yes. And she gets really under my nails. And oh, yes. But I also love her to death and more. It's all okay. I'm human. So an aspect of me just to be human. And I'm very privileged that so many people, value me, respect me, and love me. And I love them back, and I respect them back. But I'm only human. What is the funniest thing that ever has happened in the cold? Whoa. Yeah. What? Once, this. I was swimming in the cold, and I went naked. I thought to leave my pants dry at the shore. And I went so far away, somebody had taken my shorts. Can you imagine the way I went home? I had no shorts. It's shit, man. You come out of the water, you're cold, and your shorts are gone. And why and how, I don't know. I can speculate about it, but the thing is With my t-shirt I had to cover up, you know, walking that way. My butt was very prominent, present. It looked all very funny. But hey, man, funny is funny. Come on. What is the purpose of suffering? To go beyond. To learn of their suffering. Pain signals are like suffering, but all emotional pain also is suffering. There is many ways of suffering and they all teach you one thing. Go back in, connect, become holy where it is separated. So learn that pain in any way, emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually. Are all indications to come back. So pain, suffering is a teacher. And welcome the teacher to go back to who you are and what you are. Because you are amazing. What is something everybody already has but forgets? To be happy, strong and healthy. Very simple. That is not only a right, we are built to be that way. And if we are not, then we live too much into comfort zone behavior, too much into boring situations with ourselves. Snap out of it. The cold is a perfect catalyst, Darren. It makes our primordial existent power of at being happy, strong, and healthy? Absolutely at work again. So don't forget, you got the right, but also you got all the frameworks within to be happy, strong, and healthy. And if you forget, get into the cold, do some breathing, because then you get back to the factory settings of Mother Nature to be happy, strong, and healthy. What did life teach me the hard way? Relationships. Absolutely. Relationships and how to enter into them, how to maintain your freedom therein, your persona, your individual integrity. That's it. Your individual integrity. You can live with all people together. But don't lose your individual integrity. Integrity means that touch with yourself. It's beautiful. It's the touch with your soul. It is nice and great to live together and to be together. But that little spark which enlightens itself by being connected to your soul, you and your soul. That beautiful little spark is just amazing. And it's amazing in everybody. And that is where we are able to live together. But that little individual spark is your uniqueness. And yeah, I go for that. What makes me feel most alive outside of the cold is the warmth of my kids, is the animals, the view back here with the spoonbills. They have little ones. They are just living on these branches with each other. There is no separate houses there. They all live together there and they live in their energy. That energy I love. That energy is amazing, being together. When I go to do the retreats with a lot of people, then it's community. The feeling where fades away the separatism, the individualized kind of mindset into being together. Regardless of who you are, what you are, what is your color or whatever. Where souls come together, there is light and there is warmth. I love that one to the utmost. If I would be an animal in the wild, what would I be? Um, it could be a bowhead whale because they live the longest and they live in Antarctica in the cold. They are mammals. They are the longest living mammals. In the world over the 200 years. And I think they have a very great life. Why? The repairing mechanisms in their cells are wonderful, and that makes them not become sick. They are like strong mammals, so they feel good. Good feeling is where you are fully healthy. And a mammal is a being that when it's got little ones, it cares. It's love. So it would be the bowhead whale. Why are people afraid of discomfort? Because we come from the prehistoric, and our reptilian brain is still framed to dislike discomfort, to dislike cold, to dislike danger in any way. Now the comfort is our danger, and with that comes in weakness, which is really dangerous. So sometimes going into the cold, into discomfort, will fill up that gap. It's called Hormesis. Hormesis is self-inflicted acute stressful exercise. It's great. Go into the cold and you will learn to feel so much better. Because then the whole body and mind is at work. That is the way we are built. And that's real comfort. Hey guys, thank you for these questions. They trigger my mind and I like my mind to expand. And through answering, responding to these questions, I'm learning. I see new things. I can see you through that question. That question sparks always curiosity within me. Hey, I never looked at it that way. Way. So I thank you to refresh my mind. All the power and all the love.
