Wim Hof explains why he jumps into cold water instead of easing in slowly. He calls his method "flatliners" and keeps saying "dive towards yourself, just turn, let go," while a second voice adds jokes and warnings not to try this at home.

There are multiple ways to enter into the cold water. Mostly it is very slow because it is so cold. Not me. My favorite jumps into the cold water and hit it are the flatliner.
Oh, whoa! Oh, Aha! I found that! Don't do this shit at home. Jump!
Dive towards yourself. Jump! Just turn!
