Visiting Wim Hof at his home

In this informal home tour, Wim Hof walks viewers through his residence, showcasing an "interactive garden" that doubles as a training arena with recycled wood obstacles, heavy stones, and a deep jump pit. He demonstrates his daily ice‑bath routine, explains his breathing and tone‑based meditation, and shares personal touches such as a marble‑run for his three‑year‑old son and a robot lawnmower that fascinates the child. Throughout the tour he interweaves reflections on spirituality, the "battle for light" in plants, the importance of resilience, and the joy of playful competition. The narrative blends practical wellness practices, family moments, and philosophical musings, all delivered in an enthusiastic, conversational style.

Boys, a plate! Paradigm! Oh, have we got to do a competition? It's a month ago, something like that, that I really begun to do asanas, you know, postures. And I come up with strange new exercises. It's amazing. It's a very nice feeling if you find new postures, new what you can do with your body. More extreme. About 10 minutes. In the morning, and I'm really progressing, and there is more blood flow getting in. With that, life's energy feels good. Oh, that, that one is a marble run. My little son of 3, he loves marble runs. Marble run, let me show you. There we are again. Here we go, marble run! There's something— oh yeah, it all really is stuck here. It's not marvelous. I thought you just give it some color. A rainbow marble run. Yellow, blue, green. Hey, let's keep on. The interactive garden where we do not only like to look at plants and flowers, but we interact. With the garden. So come on, baby. This, for example, is a part of a tree which had to be cut because we had no light. It gave too much shadow. But then it's a great training tool. So it always comes back, the wood. It's being recycled here. That's a good training tool, I tell you. Yeah. Amazing! Here we got the Flintstones outside working out facility. Okay, there you go. And this is a heavy stone. 1, 2, 3, 4. Yes! Whoa, that's a weight. We become strong when we are in the interactive garden. Olive trees, the bamboo, everything flourishes. Everything is going great. It doesn't look like the Iceman lives here. It's more tropical. And look in here. There we are, the interactive garden. I jumped so many times. And how does a samurai go into the water? Like a samurai sword! I love it. Clean water, always. Because of the oxygen plants and the lava stones. It's a natural filter. Come here, look how beautiful all the plants are growing. They grow, it grows, overgrows. Little ferns here, it all grow. Look, a green, uh, curtain. Let's go in. Tones, deep meditation, vibration to the internal organs and neurology. Tones like this is like meditation. You just go sit and go to every part of your spine and cleanse it through the vibrations of the tone. That's why we sing. We sing, it has a purpose. It's cleansing. Because tones have vibrations. Vibrations are like frequencies to the nervous system, neurology, to cleanse it. Yes, there we are again. Look at all these rocks. Look how Buddha is levitated. Since a long time he is flying around here. Buddha is flying around. Hey Buddha, good morning. I'm sorry, I'm interrupting his meditation. Let's go up the rock. Look at this garden in the garden, how it all grew and the diversity and how it gets soil everywhere. All the details. Then you get here, it's opening up here. And suddenly you can jump into the black hole, 3 meters deep. You can make somersaults, dive, jump, baptize yourself, enjoying life. I do. My favorite jump is just letting go like this. It's a crazy jump. Let's go. How it all grew, eh? All these little plants, ferns in so many shapes. Here's the— when a lot of people come, we make this, uh, prep, prepare this with 500K, like 1,000-pound ice and water. With 8 people at a time, we go in. It's my daily ice bath. Happens right here. Real ice. It's getting to the sides. Just got to break it in the morning and then go in. Make sure you get the electricity out of the socket. Because you can be electrified. It's electrifying enough as it is. Amazing, amazing to go into icy water every day. If you die once a day, then you know what life is all about. Amazing. Here we training. We just show you. Come on in. Here we train bare chested. We go run. After half hour, my beard becomes white, my hair becomes white, it freezes all up. Half hour, sometimes an hour. Wind chill coming there from the blowing, not right now, but that happens. That is The North Pole. We can imitate the North Pole here. Come on, listen to the drums. Somebody is sending a message. Let's go. Can I have it? Come on, you can ask me. This is the way you win the war. Warriors! Yeah, that's good. Thank you. Look, there's a whole world here inside. Now here, little palm tree. It's an orange tree with all the succulents. Sometimes you just get these little things out. Don't want them to dominate. It's like a bonsai, you know. Art of gardening. Go here. The way it all grew in one season. It's amazing. This is the Netherlands. It doesn't look like the Netherlands. Just astonished about how it all grows. It's the battle for light. This one was almost dead in the beginning of the year, came fully back. Be strong like a plant. Believe makes you able to almost die and come back completely stronger than ever. Here we are. Sometimes we make fire in the tent, the teepee. It's nice to make fire in the tent and talk. Talk about life, about the nativeness of all of us. Spirituality should be there. That's what we teach people. What is new? I have to show you one thing. My 3-year-old, he is crazy about the robot lawnmower. The automatic robot lawnmower. He even plays the robot himself, and then he's going to like charge. 3 years old. That's the way they learn the robot lawnmower. And then they go up till the boundary wire, which is under the imaginable. They cannot pass anymore. Robot lawnmower all day long. He wants me to go with him in the car and see all the robot lawnmowers in the area. It's 16 robot lawnmowers, and every time we pass a house with the robot lawnmower You got to slow down. I think these people think, who's that? Is that a thief? Is he trying to find out the best way to get in or something? You know, little kids do that. Strange behavior. Yeah, love it. Right, we have been here. I know, to the fire pit. Ah. Beautiful. Again, a great place to sit down and to talk from the heart. What's upon your heart, upon your liver, upon your lungs, upon your mind, whatever the organ is, get it out of there and talk. This is where the boys play. Come strong inside, outside, mind and body. Boys are playing, love it. Paradise! No, we got to do a competition, you know. It's got to be explosive. There he comes. Yeah, yeah, I saw that. 2 meters above the rock. Oh yeah! Hey, we're just having fun here. Yes, it is a great going, guys. We go in. We got a new— this grew just in one season. Look at this, the palm tree forest here. It was like almost nothing 4 months ago, and look at the abundance. Here the aquarium is acclimating to the plants. Then the water will be up here. Colorful little fish will come in. Not tropical. They are able to withstand cold water. Just little ones. Not big ones. Come on. They have no room. But little ones, it's a whole world. Then I will be sitting here watching the fish with a cup of coffee after the breathing in the morning. Just look at life. They will be happy. I make them happy. Did you see this one? Cannabis sativa Hollandia male. Is to smoke marijuana, but I don't smoke. But I like the plant. I think aesthetically it's beautiful. I'm here sitting here, how the battle for light in any shape. It's all the battle of light for the light. So let's be light, not heavy. Light, not dark.
