Wim Hof traces his mission back to 2008, when he decided to explore unknown phenomena that science hadn't yet studied. He believes there's more beyond what we normally perceive, and that actively seeking these hidden insights is how we advance understanding.

What did the man's come bring? That is, uh, fields and ways, which were not yet known, were revealed to the man, which he was able to follow. They were not yet taken into consideration in the public world. That's how Wim Hof came.
Well, so in 2008, I had not done real science. And yet I was absolutely explaining my vision that I was going into the unknown to find things that are going to be very valuable for scientific understanding and feeling the gravity of that. That's what was driving me to understand there is more than meets the eye. It's there. But if you don't seek, you will not find. I found.
