In this guided breathing session led by Wim Hof, participants practice his signature breathwork technique, which involves rhythmic hyperventilation followed by breath retention. Throughout the exercise, Wim repeatedly cues the group with short, rhythmic prompts (e.g., “Let it go!”, “No force”). After the breathing cycles, participants share vivid personal reactions: intense bodily sensations such as tingling fingertips, a feeling of “outer space,” and a surge of energy; emotional releases and deep relaxation; spiritual or mystical impressions like entering portals or different dimensions; and a notable increase in breath‑hold capacity that challenges fear of suffocation. Several speakers note that Wim’s presence and encouragement amplify the experience. The transcript captures both the instructional flow and the subjective aftermath, highlighting the physiological, emotional, and transcendental dimensions of the Wim Hof method.

Now do it! Let it go! Pull it in! Let it go! Like the waves on the shore.
The guided breathing technique that we just used, I just went into outer space. I've never felt my body with such energy.
It was crazy. I don't even know how to describe it, but I felt really good afterwards.
I just felt super relaxed. I couldn't stop smiling.
It was something I've never experienced before, and it was just mind-blowing. I can't even— I'm still processing what happened.
Get high on your own supply.
I practiced his breathing from the app for a few months. I tried it out here. It's completely different, you know, like my body reacted differently from home.
It was intense when, you know, the hands get tingly.
Yeah, outside the whole body experience of tingling fingertips and all this body sensory thing, there was a big spiritual component for me.
Also some emotional release. Yeah, really, really intense. And even after I came back, like I I still felt like I was releasing things.
What made it even better was having Wim with you and explaining it, how to do it, and him encouraging you, and just having one else around you. It also made for the entire experience a whole lot better. Stop breathing.
No force. Not needed.
I've never experienced anything like that. I didn't think I could hold my breath for that long.
I don't even know how long it was, a minute, 2 minutes, holding the breath out like that without that, that fear.
You're kind of scared, like you're holding your breath, you're empty, and you're kind of like, okay, now's the moment where I'm gonna pass out. Then you don't pass out and you're still okay. I don't know, it's a good technique to strengthen that, that fear mindset.
Letting go of the mind, follow the flow.
It felt like my whole being was growing with power and with life. I don't know how to explain it. I looked at my friend and I said, I'm really going to mystical places now. I went into a portal, like I went into different dimensions. I mean, I can explain it with one thing, and that's just—
