Wim Hof Method: "More energy, more focus, more ideas and more inspiration"

Mark Chesters, living in London, was stuck in constant fight-or-flight stress that killed his creativity. After adopting Wim Hof's cold exposure and breathing work, he shifted to a calm state with more energy, focus, and ideas. He says the method works, but you have to actually do it.

My name is Mark Chesters. I was born Cape Town, South Africa, and moved to Europe, London, a few years back. And I've come to do the Wim Hof Method. London's so busy, the transport, the tube, the bus, you become overwhelmed. You've got meetings, you've got to meet clients, but even just normal day-to-day life, you know, you become stressed. I can feel myself becoming stressed, and being here I just realized how much of my life is actually based in stress, in the stresses. And once I'm doing the techniques and doing the methods and doing the cold water training, I realized, wow, this is— I spend much more of my time in stress than I do in a calm state. And what I know for myself is that when you're in a stressed state, you can't be creative, you're not abundant, you're not expansive, you're not productive, because you have to, you have to close down. You're in fight or flight response. But by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the calm system, the healing system, where the body is functioning optimally, you can now do things on a level which was unheard of in my life before. Consistently, not just spaces. More energy, more focus, more ideas, more inspiration. So this works. Every single human being has the tools, they are it. And what I love about Wim is that you are the master. You create your own reality. You, you can do this. Nobody else. You can do this. He'll give you the tools, but it's up to you to do it. This has changed my life in a very positive way. And this I can do every day. I've got movements, exercises, breathing techniques to do every day, which help me become the optimal being that we all are. And that's what I'm here to spread, that we all have the power We're all infinite, and now we have tools to actually explore this and be this. So thank you very much, Wim.
