Women who leave traumatic marriages often discover unexpected opportunities once they're open to new possibilities. The speaker argues this openness isn't a loss but a chance to take risks that lead to genuinely good outcomes.
Once you come out of those traumatic situations and once your mindset shifts to be open, that's what I found with a lot of women post-divorce is they all of a sudden become open to a lot of things that they weren't open to in their marriage. And it's not necessarily a bad thing. They just didn't know these things existed because they were living a certain type of life to begin with one way. And now when you become open, you'd be surprised kind of what comes your way. And being able to say, you know what, I want to take a chance on that, can turn into something completely magical.
