I knew I wanted a specific build and I was nervous that I wouldn't get that and, you know, you only get the opportunity to do this once or twice in your life and if it's messed up it's the end of the world.
I think right from the get-go it was obvious that you had studied the plans, worked already well with the architect, and then the online system That was some sort of added reassurance as well. There was instant communication right from the start.
I was very fearful of being able to trust a builder and that the whole process— you invest so much time and money in one person and just hoping that they'll deliver what they promise they will. I work full-time and I didn't have the opportunity to be on site a lot, you know, when you guys were here, so I could continually check that and see the schedule and see what's going on. Everything was as expected along the way, wasn't it?
And it was all very quick, especially at the start. That was really impressive. It was just like things happening every day, so it was really exciting. It was good to see that.
Communication is such a huge part of this process because you're handing over all this money and hoping that it's all going to come right at the end. So to make the time along the way to chat to us, and you know, it's very, very comforting and important.
My word for Intero Builders would be quality.
Yeah. And that's not just the finished product, it's the communication along the way and the sense of pride For me, it's reassurance because it's just comforting to know that, you know, you're delivering what you promised at the start. So that was the big thing for me.
Even before the handover, you were already building up a list of potential issues and identifying them with us. So that was like real honesty and integrity there. It's really important.
There's no hidden surprises along the way. So, you know, I know there are lots of cheaper builders out there, They'll promise anything to get you over the line and then tack on all the extras afterwards, but that didn't happen here at all. Whatever you get at the start is exactly what you're going to get at the end, and if you make any changes along the way, you're aware of that, but everything that's promised at the start is delivered.
What was really nice when we finally moved into the place was to look at things that we realized we really hadn't thought of at the start of the process.
There might be certain, you know, maybe even light fittings or other things like that, and realizing that between yourself and the architect you'd come up with I can see that you and all of the trades are so proud of what you do as well, so it's, it's a privilege really being here because, you know, there's a lot of good energy in creating this space. That's really nice.
