In this testimonial, two homeowners (Speaker A and Speaker B) describe their journey to build a sustainable, low‑footprint home in a green, nature‑rich area with city views. Initially they engaged a different builder, but realized the expectations would not align, so they halted the project and turned to a specialist organisation that recommended Enduro (Endura) Builders. They highlight the cultural fit with the builder’s leader, Jackson, whose approach matched their own business values. Throughout the build, an experienced site manager and regular, informative site meetings gave them confidence and a sense of partnership. They praise the team’s integrity, the excellent ventilation and resulting health and comfort benefits, and note that the finished home fully realizes the vision they set out with, providing a comfortable, healthy environment for their later years.

I love being close to nature. I love the green space. It had always been our intention to come back and live in this area as we got older. This particular area gives us great views of the city where family and friends is nearby. We wanted to build a sustainable home. We all want contributing to leaving a minimal footprint, and really what we like to have is to have an environment, you know, within the home that people can come and enjoy. When we embarked on this project, right from the beginning we went to another builder, but it became fairly obvious to us when we got further into the project of planning and designing that our expectations and what was going to be delivered possibly weren't the same. So we pulled back, stopped the project, and then looked to source the people who perhaps could help us. We sourced an organisation who are specialised in sustainable homes, and the builder that they introduced to build for a sustainable home was Enduro. I've always put a lot of emphasis on culture, and I felt from the very beginning in dealing with Jackson that his culture and his approach to how he runs his building company sat very comfortably with the way that I've worked in business. So we engaged them to take us through the journey and to build a self-sustainable home. We had a site manager who was experienced on site. My wife Deb, she was working with the site manager who's wanting an outcome the same as what we wanted.
The team kept us so well informed with our regular site meetings, which were just brilliant. I think just gave me the confidence to take that next step, to take that risk into the unknown. They have integrity, and to me that's the most important thing.
I feel we had through this was a feeling of confidence. What they saw as the vision of the build is what's produced at the end.
The house just always feels well ventilated. It makes it just so comfortable to breathe. I feel healthier, I feel more refreshed, I feel better. As we age gracefully into our twilight years, this house will deliver.
I've always enjoyed working with Endura Builders. They have been able to help us in that building journey and understood what we wanted. What they have built for us has Fulfill their vision.
