Track your work in 20-minute intervals for three days to find tasks worth automating. Start with Make.com if you're new, but avoid over-automating: the speaker's LinkedIn automation made their profile look "gross" and artificial.

Before you start building automations and AI workflows, do these 3 things. Number 1, identify the purpose. This sounds like it's pretty simple, but you'd be surprised how many people don't do this. I suggest taking 3 days and I want you to set a timer for 20 minutes. Every 20 minutes, write down what you're doing for your business. After 3 days of this, you can look through the list and see what sort of things are actually going to help you with automation. Number 2, just because you can doesn't mean you should. Don't go out there and create all of these automations that will post on your LinkedIn, your social, your blog posts, connect with your contacts that seem inauthentic. I created one. I learned this the hard way. I created one for LinkedIn and all of a sudden I looked at my LinkedIn page and I was like, oh, gross. This is AI gunk. And everybody could tell. Number 3, learn the platforms that have training. The top 3 platforms I suggest are Make.com, N8N, and Zapier. And if you're a beginner beginner, start in Make.com. If you're more intermediate, go to N8N because you can do some really amazing things. And then Zapier's really more for like connecting different platforms. So give those 3 a look and let me know what you find. Follow me for more tips on how to bring automation into your workdays.
