Robyn Anderson, also known as Jam, shares her personal journey from a career in sales, marketing, and running a development agency to becoming an AI consultant and keynote speaker. In 2021 she began following OpenAI developments and, after the surge of large language models in late 2023, she experimented with ChatGPT to monetize a pop‑culture scandal from the TV show Vanderpump Rules. ChatGPT helped her design, describe, and market a novelty wine glass featuring the quote “For you to die,” which sold over 400 units in a few weeks. Realizing AI’s potential, she integrated LLM‑driven automation into her personal life, parenting, health, and especially her business, automating her sales and marketing teams and saving thousands of dollars monthly. Demand for her methods led her to create Jamout.ai, an on‑demand training platform that teaches practical AI use at work and home, now serving over 300 members. She now works as a keynote speaker and AI consultant, encouraging others to embrace AI without fear and to start businesses immediately.

My name is Jam and I'm an AI consultant. If we haven't met yet, I want to tell you how I got started in the world of AI. I've been in sales and marketing for my entire career. I also owned a development agency, so I do have that tech background a little bit. In 2021, I started hearing about OpenAI and I started following it like a hawk. When the latest developments in LLMs started last November, I was hooked. I was in. And you may not know it, but there was actually a cultural phenomenon happening and it was called a Scandaval. It was a scandal between Tom and Ariana on a show called Vanderpump Rules. So I went to ChatGPT and I asked her, hey, how could we monetize on this moment right now? So ChatGPT and I created a business and it created a product. It told me how to create a store. It created my product description and my marketing plan. So I went through with it. We created a wine glass that said, um, "For you to die," which was a very popular quote from one of the episodes. And I ended up selling over 400 wine glasses in just a few weeks. It was pretty crazy. After I saw what I could do there, I started using AI in every part of my life. I've used automation in my parenting, my health and wellness, and at work. I ended up doing much of this that my entire sales team's process is now automated. I automated my marketing team, saving my business thousands of dollars per month. So everybody started asking me to go to coffee and show them how I was doing this. I don't have that much time for coffee, and I like caffeine, but I have a tolerance issue. So I ended up creating Jamout.ai, which is an on-demand training platform to learn how to use applicable AI at work and at home. I'm currently a keynote speaker, AI consultant, and we have over 300 members on our site. I just wanted to share my story and let you know that AI is not scary.
