How I Keep Every AI Chat Organized Across 4 Different Models

Robyn Anderson uses Obsidian to keep AI chats organized across devices and models. She creates project folders, saves each conversation as a file, and switches between ChatGPT, Claude, and others without losing context. Her workflow handles a real Shopify build across three machines.

This is the number one biggest complaint I hear about AI. So you're probably using ChatGPT and Claude. You're probably using it on your desktop and your laptop, and you're having all these different conversations and you're not sure where to find them after you're having them because you're going on a tangent on your laptop and then 3 days later you're like, oh, where did I have that conversation? So that's happening to literally everyone, and I have a great solution for it. I actually just did a like 6-minute YouTube showing how to do it, but all you have to do is figure out your file system. I use something called Obsidian. It's free. It is basically a system that lives on my desktop and I can sync it across devices. So it lives on my desktop, my MacBook, my iPhone. And basically whenever I have a conversation, all I have to do is select the project folder that I'm working in. on that large language model. So right now I'm working in Codex, and so I just opened up my project folder for one of my clients. I did a bunch of work. I'm about to take my kids to some mini golf place, and I'm going to bring my laptop. I can open it up, select that same project folder, and work on that same project in Claude. And then whatever I do, it reports back to what we built that day. So I literally don't skip a beat. I just built an entire website on Shopify for a client, and I was using like 3 different machines, 4 different large language models, and it's been the number one way to stay organized with all of the different chats going on. So if you want to learn more about that, you can comment JAM below and you'll get access to all my training and you can see my YouTube stuff for free. So give it a try and let me know what you're doing to stay organized with all of your AI chats.
