Everywhere I go, I'm seeing Claude code all over the place. And today in Club Jam we have Kevin Ferrugia, who's one of our AI experts, talking all about Claude code and how it works. Now, there's a lot of things that you can do with Claude code, from organizing files on your desktop, to building agents, to going to your browser, to vibe coding and building websites, connecting with GitHub. So you can see this is session one of Claude Code. It's more like Claude Code 101. We're showing you how to set up a terminal, how to download it, and kind of talking about what it is. And in this we're also going to show you how you can create a landing page. So follow along, take notes. We have an overview of this video as well in the description and I hope that you learned something. And thanks for being a part of Club Jam.
You have to install close code, use one of the following methods. If you're on Mac OS Linux, you can use this. If you're on Windows, you can use this. In my case, I'm on a Mac. So what I would do is just copy that. I would open up my terminal and I would just paste that in there and this will download the files needed for Claude code to run within my computer.
Hey Kevin.
Yes?
Could you show people how to open a terminal?
Yep. So on Mac you would control, sorry, command space to bring up the spotlight and then type in terminal.
Thank you.
You're welcome.
