I Built an ENTIRE Business with AI in 90 Minutes (Claude + ChatGPT)

Robyn Anderson builds a complete wellness brand called Pep & Perry for perimenopausal women in 90 minutes using Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools. She generates the brand identity, buys the domain, and uses Claude Code to scaffold a full Next.js site with features like symptom mapping and AI-generated video, then deploys it live on Vercel.

Okay, so this has been requested so many times. How can you build, launch, and scale your website with AI? Today I'm going to show you my exact process to go from zero, coming up with a brand or an idea, all the way to launching your website using AI. All you'll need is Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Vercel, Cloudflare, and then optional obsidian. All right, well, let's get into it. Hey everybody, it's Jam. Okay, so for this sprint, I wanted to start a business right alongside you. So every time I do a sprint, I always use Jam AI or Club Jam as the example, and I realize I need to be in the trenches starting something with you. So I'm super into feeling my best at my age. I'm in my early 40s and I was doing this thing where I wasn't sleeping and just feeling off, and then I realized I might be in perimenopause. And then at the same time, I'm super into like lifting weights and being fit, and I'm really interested in peptides. I've been playing with them and using them for about 2 years now, so I am the peptide expert in my friend group, and I just want to lean into that and basically take everything that I'm learning and going through and create a business around it. So this morning I opened up Claude on my phone while I was walking my dog, and I had a conversation around what I wanted to build. So you can see this is a pretty long conversation.
Oops, sorry.
Pretty long conversation. Went back and forth with kind of what I wanted to do, what I want this brand to be like, what I want to tell people, why it's important to me. And then we were going back and forth with names. And basically we landed on pepandperry.com. And so that was the first thing I did was figured out the name. And then I just went over to Cloudflare right here and I just went to domains registrations and I just clicked buy domain. I really love Cloudflare because they will host your site for free. You can connect it right to Claude. You can build with Claude. And my goal for Pep and Perry is to be a business that I don't have to touch very often, but grows and makes money for me. So we're going to create a website. We're going to create a brand. We're going to create social media handles. We're going to create marketing around those social media handles. And I'm going to create a school page for Perry. Peppin' Perry as well. So that's how I'm getting started. And in the next video, I'm gonna talk about how I'm going to build out the brand using Claude and ChatGPT. Okay, now for the fun part. I'm going to go over to ChatGPT and I'm going to have it create what I'm seeing in my head for this brand. So I love doing this stuff. I have my entire life worked in web design and development. And my favorite part was working with people at that very beginning stage to come up with their logo, their brand colors, their fonts, their brand story, and why they're doing what they're doing. I'm such a visual person, so I already have it in my head. I want Pep to be like a little round circle type person that's going to be kind of fit, and it's going to have like colorful wig. And then Perry is going to be a, another little circle with like more long blonde curly hair, and she's gonna look kind of sad and off, but like still kind of fun. So how do I take this thing in my mind and make it a reality? Let me show you. All right, so here's my prompt. I want to create a logo for my new brand called Pep and Peri. Both will be little fat circles with just dots for eyes, freckles, and a simple nose shape. Pep is going to have a blue wig that is short, and she will have some definition in her arms. Perrie will have long blonde curly wig and a circular body. She's going to have blushing red cheeks and small dots for her eyes and a simple nose. She is more feminine where Pep is more of a female athlete. So this is just going to be a version 1 and we'll see what it comes up with. This basically just read my mind. This is exactly what I was picturing almost to the tee. I wasn't picturing them to have like skin-colored bodies. I was going to do more like a black and white situation. But I've— I'm kind of liking this, I think. So this could be something that I'm going to play with. I don't necessarily want to keep this 100%. I'm going to kind of look at it and take it in. Right away, I think it looks like a little too cartoony. I wanted it to be more like pencil drawn rather than actual animation type. And then as far as the fonts go, I'd like it to be a little bit more bold and bright. And I want to use teals and whites. So I'm going to go back and do a couple edits and I'll show you what it ends up with. Okay, so here's what's— what happened since we left. I had a few phone calls and I was just like playing with it. So I was like, I want this to be more teal, and then I just wasn't liking it, so I said more millennial, less cutesy, and then it was kind of getting there, but then I said make it more 3D and plastic. This is what I was picturing in my brain. Like, this is actually mind-blowing how close this was to my brain, except for I want them to look older. They look like children. So I said, make them look like women in their 40s. But then they turned into potatoes, and I was like, I don't want potatoes, and don't make them skin color. Then we got somewhere. So this is what I am working with. And then I tried some like necklaces and eyebrows, but I don't really like those. So This is kind of what I'm going to start with for now. And yeah, so now we'll move on to setting up our email because we have to do an email first. And then we're going to set up our, uh, social media channels. I'm going to do Instagram and I might just do Instagram and Facebook to start. Keep it easy. We'll be Meta, Instagram, Facebook. Website, email. So yeah, we're gonna do that next. Okay, this is super exciting cuz now we're going to take this conversation. So I'm in just the chat that I had when I was walking my dog, and I'm going to say, take everything important from this conversation and help me create what Claude Code needs to know because Claude Code is going to build out and make this an entire reality. So I'm going to upload that little logo we made so it knows what colors we're using. And then I'm telling it that we're going to use Vercel, which is what we use to kind of publish our site, but the site is going to be hosted and the domain lives on Cloudflare. And then it'll also have to set up a GitHub repository as well. Need to set up a GitHub repository for this project as well. So I'm just asking it to give me instructions because right now I'm in chat. In chat, we all know can't really do what we need it to do. We have to use either Cowork or Code. I like to use Code now because honestly, I just chat in it. I don't write code. And it's the same as Cowork in a way, kind of minus some guardrails. And I say minus guardrails because I'm going to also make an Obsidian folder structure for this brand and this business. And so I don't have to get a different instance of Claude. I can use just this Claude, but when I chat with Claude about this project, I'll make sure to point it to that folder. I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself, I know, but let's just see what it comes up with for instructions. So here's what it came up with. Pepin Perry project brief for Claude Code gives like an overview of what's going on, what it is, owner, hard rules. Oh, you know what I forgot to do? I forgot to give it the logo. So let me do that real quick. Remember, it's always an iteration. Okay. So I just said, hey, I forgot to give you the logo. I'm going to send it. And then it'll update it just a little bit here. Oh my God. I love Claude so much. I spelled it wrong in my logo. So I have to go back and do that. But again, just showing like this is a true partner. It's helping me create this with guardrails, with like somebody to kind of make sure I'm doing things right. So I'm gonna go redo that real quick. So now I'm just in chat and I said, whoops, it needs to say Pep and Perry, but keep everything else the same. I knew something wasn't quite right. Okay, so now I'm giving it the right one and it'll make some updates. One thing to note, I did have this whole conversation about how I want my tone and brand and story to go. And if you guys don't know already, I'm obsessed with Real Housewives. They're my friends. I don't have a lot of time to go out anymore, and when I do, it's very fun. But I feel like watching Real Housewives is sometimes hanging out with friends. And so I decided for a lot of my tone and what I'm going to do is that I'm going to copy some of like the Bravo-esque type stuff as far as having like one-on-ones and kind of doing a real talk about each peptide. And bringing all of the peptides together and doing like how they work together, kind of like we do in the reunion. I know it sounds far-fetched, but I can make it happen. All right, so you can see here it has like the project brief. So if I click that, it'll open up and then it has the logo. All of this will go into my Obsidian folder when I'm done, but for now I'm going to take this and go over to Claude Code and get the website started. So now I'm over here in Claude Code, and all I'm going to do is I'm going to upload this file. And I made it an MD file so that it knows exactly what to read and how to understand it. You can see here it's pulling Sutton, which is my Jamai Obsidian folder, which I don't want to do that. So if you're an Obsidian user, Amazing. And if not, don't worry about it because it's really easy to set up. And actually all it is is a folder structure. And so it's, you can use Claude Code and just have it live on your desktop, or you can use Obsidian. I prefer Obsidian because I can drag images to it. I can grab links to it and it kind of brings me out of Claude. I know we love Claude so much, but maybe in 6 months I'll want to use something else. And so that's why it's important to me to make sure that I have Obsidian folders and files for each one of my projects and each one of my businesses. So I'm gonna open a new vault. So I just went over to Obsidian and hit new vault. So I have Sutton for JMAI. I'm working on this Avoralife project. And then this is for my personal life, cuz Caroline Manzo, she's like the best Real Housewife there is for being a mom. So I'm just going to hit create a new vault and I'm going to name this Perry, Pep and Perry. And I'm just going to hit create. Oh, browse.
Open.
All it was asking was where I want things to live. So now I have this Obsidian folder. It just lives on my desktop and I can tell Claude that I want it to build with that. So I'm gonna go ahead and find it. There's Pep and Perry. I'm gonna hit open. I'm gonna say trust. So now everything I work on for this project is going to go into this folder, Pep and Perry, and it'll keep me super organized. And also, as I make changes to this business, it will update the files and folder for me. So no more messy desktop, no more messy file structure. Claude is on top of it and it updates this entire Obsidian vault for me. So I'm gonna say, I want to get started on building this website. Please review this brief and ask me any questions you might have. Okay, so here we are in my website builder in Claude Code, and it's already come up with Such fun stuff. I want to just kind of give you an overview of what we're going for. One second, it's asking me questions. Okay, so where we left off, where I had an MD file that ChatGPT wrote me, and I just said, I want to get started building this website, ask me any questions you might have. And then basically I've been packing all day because my family and I are going back east. And it's been a big job. So I literally just put on bypass permissions, which they don't really recommend, but again, I'm pointing it just at my Obsidian folder and it's pretty much empty except for a logo and it knows what to do with Vercel and GitHub from my MD file. So I felt fine with that. So it basically just kept going. It asked me a few questions, what I should deploy now. And I said, I don't want it to deploy the website and make it live. I wanted to build it where I can poke around and see what's going on. So I gave it the logo because it, it didn't, I didn't put it in the Obsidian file. And then literally, you guys, it just went to work and it came up with this website, which I'm going to tweak a little bit because it's not using my logo, but I think it's a really great start. It basically has PEP, all about peptides. So it's energy, strength, movement, feeling like yourself. And then peri, just understanding like what perimenopause is and what it's all about. And then what I really like is it kept keeping me safe and it was like, let's do a medical disclaimer. This is educational, not advice. Um, I also thought this was pretty cool. It did like a symptom map. So wherever you're feeling it, you just click on the body and it might say what's going on. So you just kind of click on whatever and see what happens. And then it says, ready to do something about it? Explore HRT. So it goes deeper into HRT. And then, oh, got another routine going. That's okay. Um, then I have another thing right here with peptides. And I asked it to create basically kind of like a profile for each one. So what I look like, my story, what I bring to the table, my red flags, where to find me. And then I was like, let's do a video. I was thinking I would record a video, but then Claude said I actually have access to ElevenLabs. And so that's where, when I first started this video, it was asking if it should animate the image that it's creating. So it's literally doing all of it over here. I'm not sure. It looks like it's using Higgsfield actually. So I have all sorts of connectors, obviously. So in my Claude and connectors, I have a lot of stuff, right? So I have Higgsfield. I'm seeing if I have ElevenLabs. I don't have ElevenLabs. So yeah, it's using Higgsfield right now. And yeah, we'll just see what it comes up with to make a little video on each page. Let's see, is it asking me what voice to pick? It chose Roxy. All right. Meet PT-121.
The flow—
showing us the voice. That sounds pretty good. It wrote the script. So now it's generating that and it's going to be putting it on our page. The other cool thing is when you launch a site here with Claude, it'll actually throw it into your browser. This is not live. You can see see it says like localhost:3000, but it's nice to just see what it would look like from a, you know, mobile perspective. And you can kind of poke around as if it was a real website. There's definitely some things I want to change, but this is really on to a great start. And guys, this is just why it's so easy to build your website with Claude. I can come in, make changes, add pages, whatever I want, and I just do it right here in my chat with Claude and it launches it. Again, I'm using something called Vercel, which is this little logo here. So you can think of it as Cloudflare is where the domain lives, but Vercel is actually launching pages, putting pages into the world, and they work together. And then everything is also backed up in GitHub as well. So I can always come here, move it, change it, just have a code repository right here so I don't lose anything if for some reason like Claude left us or something. So yeah, the website is getting going again. I did this while packing. I had two meetings. I hosted a video session today and I recorded a podcast all while building this. And once it's done, I'll just say I like it. Let's Let's launch it and I'll show you how that works next.
All right, so I've been going back and forth and back and forth, just kind of changing up things to the website, but now I'm at a point where I'm ready to make it live. And this is the part where everyone gets a little bit scared and you don't need to be. So all I do is I say, let's point Pep Perry to Cloudflare DNS. So there's two parts. There's Vercel, right? This is where the domain belongs to a project, and then the DNS records are Cloudflare. And so all it's going to do is tell me the exact DNS records that I need to add in Cloudflare. So it just said, hey, add these two records. So I'm going to pull up Cloudflare. Looks like this. And I just have a free account. I'll go back. So I have Jamout here, and now I have Pep and Perry. So I'm clicking on this domain.
I bought it for $10.
And then I'm going to click on is DNS records right here. And this is just really simple. We're just going to add a record and then we look and say, okay, what did it tell us to do? An A record with an @, @this, right? So I'm just going to copy that and we're going to— it already says A, symbol. Just pasting that and save. So we have one and then the next one is the same thing. Awww. Here we go. Add a record. Awww. Save. OK. Come back.
We're going to say done.
And then that's literally all we do. And now the website will go live. All right, so let's give it a try.
I'm gonna go to—
oh, and there we are! So it works. We have the full design. We have this thing where you enter a code. Let's see, join the community, goes to school, start. So again, I did all of this in probably a combined hour and a half. So now I need to work on the content of the classroom, and we're going to start working our way through the marketing machine.
And I'll be doing this right alongside with you, starting with basically nothing.
