Robyn Anderson uses Perplexity's AI agent Comet to automatically add images to 100 Hootsuite posts. She gave it one instruction: match custom images from Google Drive to each post, and Comet logged in and populated the schedule. ChatGPT couldn't even access Hootsuite, but Comet's desktop app bypassed the login barrier.

I just got access to the Perplexity AI agent called Comet. Let me show you what it does. You have to get this cute little email to start, and then once you start it, um, you download it and it's an app in your computer.
I was actually looking at Fiverr when I got this. I was about to hire somebody to help because I just started Hootsuite and I did a bulk upload of like 100 different posts. And no images came with it. So I was like, hey, Comet, let me see if you can fix this.
And guess what? It did. So basically I did a bulk import and it looked like this, like no images were in it. And so I, I made all these really cute images on Ideogram for my website. And so basically I just downloaded these and put them into a Google Drive, and I uploaded that Google Drive to the Comet agent, and I said, hey, just grab whatever image you think matches best to the post and add it to it. So it shows all the steps that it did. It went into Hootsuite, opened up just those dates. I did those because I tried to do more and it kind of freaked out, so just did that many. And then gave it my Google Drive. I also told it to go to my website and grab stuff there, and also said I could grab, grab images using women dressed in orange if it needed to. So the assistant explains what it's going to do, gives you sources that it uses, and it also outlines all the steps. So, so it ended up doing it and it posted all of those images in here. As you can see, um, each day has different ones and it used the images that I asked it to from the Google Drive folder. So I think that's pretty awesome. The other thing that's cool is it matched like the content says busy wearing hats and I put this hat lady in.
So overall this did outperform the Agentic GPT-5 and ChatGPT because I asked that to do the same thing and it couldn't, couldn't log into Hootsuite in the first place even though I logged into my browser. So maybe because this is a desktop app, it, you know, bypasses passwords a little bit better. But yeah, let me know what you're doing with Comets.
