Robyn Anderson, founder of jamout.ai, walks through Google NotebookLM's tools for learning: search, chat, and report creation. She searches "craps strategies" to show how it pulls 100+ sources, lets you ask questions, and generates an audio summary you can listen to anywhere.

Welcome to Jam's Gym. Today we're going to train your brain on how to use NotebookLM. Hi, my name is Robyn Anderson. My friends call me Jam, and I'm a keynote speaker and the owner of jamout.ai. And we have an amazing AI training program. It's taken off like wildfire. But first, let me show you NotebookLM. If you haven't used it yet, it's changing the way we learn, and it's changing the way that we create content to learn. Just go to notebooklm.google.com. Yes, this is a Google product, so if that makes you feel better, great. You can go ahead and hit Discover Sources where you can type in any sort of search term, and basically at the end of the day, you'll be creating an entire notebook about a specific subject. But let me show you what I mean. I just went to Vegas and I wanted to get better at craps. So when I hit Discover, I typed in craps strategies and how to play craps. There's over 100 different resources. I don't have time to go through all of that. So here I could chat with that knowledge base, or I can create reports. This is a new feature. I can create a briefing doc, study guide, blog post, but the coolest part is I can create an audio overview that acts like a podcast because then I can listen to it at the gym.
You know that feeling, right? You walk past the craps table in a casino and it's just this total whirlwind. Shouts, cheers, dice flying. It feels kind of overwhelming, almost like, you know—
So that's your workout today. Go do some reps. Let me see what you come up with, and I'll see you tomorrow.
