If you are a non technical founder by yourself or a co founder you have an obligation to level up and become at least basic level technical. It seems wild to me that a founder can say well I'm in sales marketing vision. I'm going to hire cto, VP of engineering agency whatever that might be to handle the tech stuff. If your entire business is a tech business surely you owe it to yourself, your partners, your customers, your employees, your investors and your scale to level up and understand what's happening across the board. I'm not asking you to jump in and become an engineer tomorrow. I'm saying you should be able to speak to at least at a high level everything happening across your organization. You should be able to have a seat at any table of your organization and be able to at least generally understand and have input, insight and make decisions. The only person who loses by you staying nontechnical is you and therefore your company. Good luck.
