A mistake a lot of first time founders make is they start sales way too late. They think they have to wait for their product to be ready or one more feature or one more thing before they can take it out to the market. But the reality is that's not true. If you think about how that mentality works, you're going to wait till you have a product. It's going to take you 3, 6, 9, 12 months to do education, awareness, marketing, sales cycle campaigns to start generating revenue. And through that whole time you're just burning cycles and burning cash. You can do a lot of that pre work and prep work while your product is engineering. Whether that is understanding what your pricing means and how you're going to actually price your product all the way to how you're going to think about customer success and onboarding and training, to thinking about your sales channels, your distribution channels, your partnerships, to identifying who are your economic buyers and audiences. There's so much you can do literally right now. Don't wait until your product's ready. Start running. Good luck.
