He emphasizes bringing a founder's chaotic, unstructured 'magic' into a company's DNA to foster innovation while acknowledging some functional tasks don't need reinvention.

One of my favorite phrases don't leave serendipity to chance. And quite simply it's how do you not leave unexpected outcomes, magical outcomes to just pure fate and pure luck? How can you manufacture, how can you create, how can you do everything to make a more favorable environment for unexpected outcomes to occur? And what that also means is for individual founders, co founders or people building teams the magic is in the chaos, the mayhem, the unstructured, the unprotocol, the undressed driven, the unwalked between the lines. And so it's really important that as you're going on your journey yes there are some things that are perhaps just functional or fact that you don't need to find a new way, you don't need to find a gap for innovation or chaos but how do you make sure that your magic as a founder comes into the company? How do you get that DNA into the company to create unexpected outcomes? It's allow a little bit of chaos, good luck.
