It's never been so easy to become a startup founder and that's what makes it so hard. Everyone has the same access to tools, resources, people, markets, education, learning, knowledge, you name it. Everyone to a certain degree with the Internet has access to everything. So if everyone has the same level of access what's the competitive advantage? How do you win? It's really twofold. Number one is the quality of idea and this is a little bit on the zero to one theme that is your idea either totally net new in the market or are you accelerating an existing idea so monumentally that it makes an impact and the second is your ability to execute. That's the game changer. In fact that game changer is bigger than the idea because you will find plenty of incredible executors with decent ideas who are able to go all the way. But you will rarely find a poor executor with a fantastic idea able to win. Good luck.
