Chapters
The most dangerous type of startup founder is the entrepreneur in search of a problem. And it's not to say that it doesn't work or can't work. It can. It's just different. And what I mean by that is most startup founders kind of fall into it. They see a problem, they see a white space, they experience a problem, they see an opportunity and they say, I can solve this, I can fix this. I'm going to start a business. An entrepreneur in search of a problem is saying, I, I'm going to start a business. What am I going to do? And there's a million great reasons. Maybe you got laid off. Maybe you've always dreamt of it. Maybe you've worked in a startup and you want to do it yourself. Maybe you want the financial or time flexibility and independence, all of them valid reasons. But when you're not coming in with this passionate, excited kind of problem that you found and ready to start a business, and instead of looking for a problem, you've got to make sure that that problem really does exist, and you're not just kind of making it up just because you want to start a business. Good luck.
