Here is just an awful fact that first time founders find out the hard way and second time founders will swear by which is having paying customers using a product does not mean you have market fit it is potentially the leading indicator but having paying customers doesn't mean you have it. What shows you have market fit is that your sales are compounding and accelerating and accelerating at a velocity that proves that your product has value by not having churn proves that your product delivers value. So whilst paying customers is the leading indicator as a founder you've really got to be doubling down and focusing on are you achieving value for that customer? Are you delivering the results they need? What else do you need to iterate on? What else do you need to add? What else do you need to think about? So the customer has to have your product needs your product more than just wants it. So paying customers is amazing. Paying customers that turn into scalable sales is incredible. Good luck.
