StartUp Founders: Stop Waiting For The Investment Start Building

A short YouTube monologue advising self-funded startup founders to stop waiting for seed investment and instead use no-code tools to build professional-looking branding, websites, and initial app prototypes. The speaker emphasizes learning via vendor videos/courses, accepting imperfect early builds, spending small amounts for design help when needed, and demonstrating grit and resourcefulness to attract investors and customers.

If you're a startup founder and you are self funding and you are hoping to raise a seed round and in the interim you have a full time job, you don't have a war chest of cash and it's just you and maybe a few pennies on the side maybe to put here and there, you would be well served to stop waiting for the money because it's going to take longer than you expect, it's going to be harder than you expect and you might not get it. Instead, there are online tools all no code that require no engineering experience experience for you to do everything you need from creating your logo and your brand book to creating your website or your coming soon to integrate with a mailing list so all the front end presentation of your brand, there are amazing tools out there that can look you make you look like an absolute pro that require no prior experience and no design or coding. The exact same applies for your mobile or web app. You can stop building right now. It's not going to be your perfect solution. It's not going to have every feature, everything you want, but it's enough to get rolling and it's enough to be able to show potential investors, potential customers, potential partners get building. And it's not going to happen immediately. You're going to sit down with one of these tools and you're going to be like, oh my God, where do you start? I'll tell you where you start with their videos, with their courses, with their learning. But this is the time to upskill yourself. You're going to have to learn some new things very, very quickly. But you can end up with full website, full branding that looks absolutely professional and a first version of your mobile or web or whatever other application you're building that looks decent, perhaps good or better. And if you need to spend a couple of pennies, perhaps on design, there's enough resources or places you can go for very cheap. Hey, can you make this look a bit better? My point being is so many founders think they have to sit and wait for the money before they can do anything. When in reality you can actually start running right now. It's just going to require work on your side, grit, perseverance. And what a great look for a potential investor that you were able to do all of this with zero budget, with zero prior experience, with zero coding. That's the type of thing people want to see. They want to see a founder who's just going to make it happen. There is no such thing as no to you. So run. There's nothing you can't do immediately. So, you know, I think it was a bit passionate in that view, because I think a lot of founders think they have to wait for the money. You don't. There's stuff you can do right now to get the ball rolling, to get customers in, to get prospects in, to start marketing, start promoting, start getting it out there, to include views in your deck, to send a prototype. So just get on with it every day. All you have to do is get one step closer. That's it. Yeah, it's going to be tough, but there's no reason most not to do it. And you get to learn a whole new skill as you go through this journey. Good luck.
