A startup founder, your percentage chance of success rounded to the nearest whole number is zero. And this is a positive message, by the way. And every day all you are trying to do is move the needle and take an action that can move the odds from 0% to 1%. Every day you're just moving the needle from 0% to inevitable success. And that's what makes an incredible founder. You have so much that has to go in your favor to succeed. Everything. So much has to fall into place. So many odds are stacked against you. It's so difficult at every single step. And even when you get momentum, it gets even harder. Scale is even harder. But the point is you're trying to move to inevitable. And what makes an incredible founder is this obsession and this belief that a I'm 100% wrong. And actually their chance of success is 100%, but actually they understand what they've got to do and they're going to will it into existence and they have perseverance and grit and sheer power and they are just going to make it happen. So yeah, on paper the odds not in your favor, but that's what makes a great founder. The ones who just drive it forward trying to incrementally move from zero to inevitable. Good luck.
